Operational duties include coordination with shippers, truckers, shipping lines and agents for the export of shipments.
- Maintain high work volume with low errors.
- Negotiate cost-effective rates with service providers to ensure maximum profitability.
- Arranging for pick-up or inland transportation.
- Booking and document preparation (bill of lading, invoicing, export declaration, ISF filing, pre-alerts, etc.)
- Follow-up with tracking and tracing to final destination and data quality requirement.
- Customer Service responsibilities include maintaining communication with shipper, consignee, carrier and overseas agents throughout the process and choosing proper routing appropriate to the customer's needs.
- Maintain SOP (standard operating procedures) and customer profiles including key contacts, special requirements, contract rates and preferred routing/services/carriers.
- Participate in quotes for overseas agents as requested.
- Meeting client requirements in terms of data input, and general customer service inquiries related to tracking & tracing.

Responsible for - Perform & handling Sea/Air freight
Export/Import operations FCL/LCL/SOC.
- Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment.
- Obtaining, checking & preparing documentation to meet customers’ requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with other countries regulations.
- Pricing desk for trucking and customs clearance services.
- Acting as service negotiator with worldwide agents to guide the freight efficiently through complex procedures.
- Marinating current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations & other factors that could affect the movement of freight.
- Regarding import shipments make sure that the customer is fully aware of his cargo arrival & related costs.
- Perform equipment control ISO Tanks (Handling, cleaning, lift on/off, storage at depots & collecting demurrages).
- Reviewing all service providers invoices, make sure that they are matching initial provided service and quotation, grant validation of invoices & principle’s SOA accordingly.
- Prepare all kinds of regular reports through the year to top management such as (volume report, financial report & equipment report ).

Responsible for
Merghem General Warehouse (Governmental Sector) operated by Legend Tec Company (Private Sector).
Running all the operations related to the empty equipment's (containers) warehoused in the yard either Gated-in or Gated-out.

· Gate in empty (ex- IMP DEL)

· POS from DAM to other ports/depots

* provides operational information to management by researching and analyzing operation data and preparing reports
1- receiving requests from the lines and follow to determine the containers which will be gated in the depot and its size and type empty or loaded .
2- follow the entrance cards fees from any trailer and compare the actual values of cards with the containers number gated in to the depot .
3- knowing the price list of the depot and the deals were happened between ATEB and the lines .
4- receiving invoices from the contractors and compare them with the actual data in the depot system to be sure about its corrective .
5- records data by operating data entry equipment; coding information; resolving processing problems .
6- update ATEB depot system with all gate moves, containers location and statues on time
7- send all reports to the shipping lines according to planned schedules .
8- insure all trucks and drivers docs. To be valid
9- make sure that containers on trucks matching released docs. Such like shipping lines, size, type and to be fit and PTI on case of reefer .
10- receiving requests from all the customers and update all moves on depot system.
11- update the containers related to each line on a separate sheet with the suitable calculations to determine the cost per customer and per site .
12- Control over the equipment's out and in moves.
13-Follow up from gate-out till gate in.
14-Overview over the in sound and out of service stock per location/depot.
15-Reduce logistics/transfer costs.
16-Correct invoicing.
17-Immediate repairs for malfunctioning gen-sets by update the EMR by the out of service equipment's / depot and follow up repair action taken.
18-Third party damage costs collections.
19-Provide the operations team by all types information needed.

Responsible for all the operations and the containers movements inside the yard, responsible for the admin works inside the yard .

Movements activities
• Receive all export and import daily orders from the customer service department
• Coordinates work orders continuously between clearance team and fleet operation team
• Coordinate movements of clearance team in different yards, port gates and follow up their commitment to upload the data to the system in the right timing
• Ensure fast turnaround of owned and rented trucks inside the port
• Coordinate owned trucks movements till the exit from port gates, the entrance and the exit of all full and empty containers and gating in/out containers
from different yards, terminals and gates
Documentation activities
• Supervises and implements documentation activities related to clearance procedure
• Ensures that clearance sheet should be stamped with governmental stamp to prove its return
• Follows up and reviews balance, audition and cancelation with customs to balance the credit
• Follows up and updates the renewal of guarantee letters and deliver it to the customs authority
• Receives and follows up receiving shipping lines container allocation letters
• Coordinates taking no reject letters to allow containers allocation for specific shipping line
• Reviews the financial balance with shipping agency and follow deduction from ship & crew guarantee letter balance
• Coordinates receiving loading and discharge letters from shipping agencies
Others
• Follow up entering all the expenses on the software system in case of any additional expenses it will be send to the clearance supervisor for approval
• Works as system administrator for all related tasks delegation, orders, acceptance, scheduling tasks on staff and monitoring the processing of assigned tasks
• Responsible for the employees disciplinary and their commitment for the attendance and absenteeism
• Maintains good relations with public authorities and private sectors
