• Setting up of SPPA-T3000 system in line with the Siemens commissioning procedure
• Commissioning of SPPA-T3000 components like:
 I&C cabinets, Automation processors (S7-400).
 SPPA-T3000 Application servers, thin clients, WIN-TS, printers.
 SPPA-T3000 Timeserver, Technology Server, Terminal Server.
 SPPA-T3000 Network configuration, firewall setup, router configuration.
 Malware prevention system.
 SPPA-T3000 OPC interface, black box interfaces.
 Controlled initial powering up of SPPA-T3000 LAN cabinets and SPPA-T3000 cabinets.
 Start up and initial loading of SPPA-T3000 automation processors.
 Regular backup of the SPPA-T3000 system.
 Implementing firmware updates and patches.
 User administration.
 Configuration of SPPA-T3000 Remote Access.
 Setting up SPPA-T3000 clients, printers and Swap out server.
• Supporting Three Mega Projects in Egypt (New Capital, Beni Suef, Burullus )

The Simple Cycle is based on 4 Siemens Gas Turbine 4 x SGT5-2000E (2x164 MW + 2x156 MW).
• Administration of SPPA-T3000 Control system.
• Working on SPPA-T3000 components:
 Controllers (Step 7 400, AS3000 and CS3000).
 Servers (Application Server “xenserver 6” and Terminal Server).
 Switches (SCALANCE SWs, HP SWs 1910-8G, Ruggedcom RSG 2100).
 Firewalls (SCALANCE S612).
 Routers (MACH 4002 and Cisco ISR 892).
 Time Servers (DTS 4130).
• Installing necessary patches and updates for Automation System and Malware Preventive Software.
• Carry out all modifications and Configuration on the system this include \[Add/ delete/ modify signals, Functional Diagrams, Alarms, trends, HMI, Archiving\].
• Working on Emergency Shutdown System (Braun System).
• Working on Fire & Gas System (MINIMAX).
• Working on Substation Control System (SCS) and its components (SICAM PAS - PAS CC - Ethernet Switches).
• Working on IT-Network:
 Cisco ISR 4331.
 Core Switches (Cisco 4506-E).
 Stack Switches (Cisco 3650).
 Wireless Controller (Cisco 2500 series).
 Firewall (FortiGate 300D).

• Responsible for Ovation 3.3.1 DCS Powered by Emerson Process Management.
• DCS system Monitoring and Fault Analysis.
• Carry out all modifications and Configuration on the system this include \[Add/ delete/ modify signals, Control Sheets, Alarms, trends, Process Displays, Historian\].
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving the DCS Components (Domain Controller, DB Servers, OPC Interface, Workstations, Printers, Network Devices, Controllers and Modules).
• DCS system Backups.
• Working with AMS Software for communicating with Smart Field devices to \[Configure devices - Check device status - Perform device loop tests and self-tests - Track device history - Streamline device calibration management\]
• Working on Kaspersky Administration Kit to protect the DCS Ovation System.
• Configuring Reports for the Power Station's Performance Test using Emerson Report Package.
• Working collaboratively with operation engineers and other internal staff.
