Holcim Philippines, Inc. is one of the leading construction solution companies in the country. As a Practicum Trainee of the Supply Chain department, I reported to the Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) Manager and Planning Manager.
Main responsibilities:
Assigned under Supply Chain Management System which covers Sales & Operations Planning, Contracts, and Transport Sourcing of Supply Chain Department.
- Supported the S&OP Manager in developing raw material and warehouse dashboard that display inventory levels on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Aid the Supply Chain Contract Specialist in processing the required documents for vendor reaccreditation, as well as follow ups of the vendors.
- Conducted hauler’s safety and equipment performance evaluation.
- Worked with the Procurement Category Specialist to establish records of time-chartered and voyage-chartered vessels.
- Performed Technical Bid Evaluation of Haulers and reported the corresponding general assessment to the Procurement Manager
Main achievements:
- Been able to develop a working excel file that displays inventory visibility impact for better decision making and better collaboration with stakeholders
- Been able to reaccredit at least 70% of the vendors
- Been able to properly archive and ensure completeness of the hauler and back hauler's contracts with the company
