Classify goods according to tariff coding system. (HS Code)
Prepare and process import and export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures. Pay, or arrange for payment of, taxes and duties on shipments.
Safe keeping of all documentation associated with import/export permit approval applications, custom clearances and material/equipment inventory control.
Handling Bonding Formalities with customs Bonded warehouse & Private Warehouse.
Clear goods through customs and to their destinations for clients.
Under general supervision, is accountable for higher responsibility and more complex logistics transactions such as controlled goods, explosives, etc. Ensures efficient movement of goods in compliance with company policies, procedures and local laws, including in-country transportation as well as exportation and importation of goods
Calculate duty and tariff payments owed on shipments.
Negotiate contractual terms with international suppliers on all matters related to Vessel Nomination, Discharging Terms, Demurrage/Discharge Rates and other critical operational terms.

Handling The Bulk Cargo operation,
Port operations mainly include Clearing
Quote duty and tax rates on goods to be imported based on federal tariffs and excise taxes.
Obtain line releases for frequent shippers of low-risk commodities, high-volume entries, or multiple-container loads. Inform importers and exporters of steps to reduce duties and taxes. MIS report to send weekly basis.
Vessel Handling (Bulk vessel and Offshore Vessel (Oil and Gas) with proper documents.)
Ensure the Offshore - Supply, Includes spares to Offshore Vessels and Rigs
Contract with freight forwarders for destination services.
Maintain relationships with customs brokers in other ports to expedite clearing of cargo.
Apply for tariff concessions or for duty drawbacks and other refunds.
Prepares service kits for production, fills orders and supplier subcontract consumable parts.
Provide advice on transportation options, types of carriers, or shipping routes.
Prepare papers for shippers to appeal duty charges., Suggest best methods of packaging or labeling products,
Ensure that all inspection, loss control, vessel/barge, and agent nominations are properly communicated and documented, and invoices for these services are verified, approved and processed in a timely manner.
Insure cargo against loss, damage, or pilferage
Determine efficient and cost-effective methods of moving goods from one location to another.
Reserve necessary space on ships, aircraft, trains, or trucks.
Coordinate with Transporter typically work in the material movement and warehousing

Follow up the Vendor Payments & FOREX payments & Coordinate with Bankers.
