Key Accountabilities
• Participate as a member of the Leadership Team in formulating IT strategy and implementation road-map that is aligned with company level strategic imperatives and priorities.
• Provide thought leadership in evaluating new technologies and make recommendations on technological solutions across multiple lines of business. Consistently assess technical efficiency and makes changes as necessary.
• Conduct a comprehensive review of existing tools and capabilities as part of drawing up the technology blue print to meet existing and future business requirements.
• Lead the oversight of existing technology platforms and build out of new technology platforms and capabilities to meet emerging business needs.
• Set up and manage a highly efficient, cost effective, scalable Infrastructure for desk top/ applications and communication.
• Ensure smooth functioning of support & operational systems through outsourcing partners and associated service and technology providers.
• Direct the development and implementation of IT policies and processes in instances of BCP/disaster recovery/security breach etc.
• Lead and motivate a skilled and engaged IT workforce. Key Working Relationships
• Close contact across all levels of the organization although most contact at senior levels
• External relationships mostly with (including but not limited to): IT (Hardware/ Software) Vendors and Suppliers of Tech Product/Application Vendors.
Responsible for Service Operations - provide basic support to users, track service request fulfillment, training and education activities for end-users on IT best practices, receipt of services from vendors and suppliers, server room administration, process and procedure documentation, invoice verification, run and maintain IT activities.
Responsible for Asset Management and control IT assets across all sites in India to ensure the physical assets and records are updated, and manage IT assets according to business guidelines.
Projects manage and implement new solution and services of small scale projects across India.
Manage vendors, suppliers and other third parties in the delivery of Infrastructure services in site according to industry standards and policies.
Coordinate, lead and manage implementation Develop, document, update service delivery processes relevant to the operations and ensure all stakeholders are trained to use it effectively.
Test, evaluate and mainstream new services or product offering under this domain that is relevant for the business growth
Update and maintain a central repository/website for the tower standards, policies and procedures. Provide periodic communications to IT and end users to improve awareness and education to comply with relevant policies, procedures.
