Drafting various contracts, legal notices and rendering opinions for well-established corporate clients of the firm.
Responsible for civil litigation work on behalf Sultan Law Associates which represents many different individual as well as corporate clients in litigation in the lower civil courts, district courts and banking tribunals. In charge of drafting plaints and written statements, examination and cross-examination of witnesses and for preparing arguments.
Responsible for reviewing the following types of Business Contracts: General contracts, Non-profit, Joint venture agreements, Corporation creation agreements, corporate amendments. Bi-laws, Conversions, Property lease & other related documents, Supplier or supply contracts, Non-disclosure agreements, Mutual agreements, Mediation agreements, General contracts, Union contracts - buying/selling contracts, Franchise agreements, Basic litigation forms, Retainer agreements
Responsible for reviewing the following types of Personal Contracts: Insolvency, bankruptcy, liquidation, Separation & Divorce contracts, agreements, Prenuptial agreements, Power of attorney, Cohabitation agreements, Civil Partnership agreements, Tenancy agreements and tenancy contracts, Contracts of Employment, Life insurance or policies, Rent agreements, Retirement plans, Lease agreements (car and property), Trusts, Wills, Employment releases, Co-ownership agreements, Non-disclosure agreements, Independent contractor agreements, Travel and travel related insurance contracts or policies
Rendering legal opinions on a wide variety of banking matters such as drafting and vetting finance and security documentation. Also responsible for rendering legal opinions on a wide variety of issues relating to creation of mortgages/charges and transfer of property in respect of loan facilities provided to the banks’ corporate customers.
Provide legal Consultative services in relation to corporate matters and Agreement drafting & vetting.
Conducted due-diligence for the Region of Pakistan
• Rendering legal opinions on a wide variety of banking matters for different banks such as Allied Bank of Pakistan, Punjab Bank and Faysal Bank which has Minto & Mirza as its main legal advisors.
• Responsible for drafting and vetting finance and security documentation pertaining to corporate customers of well established banks who has Minto & Mirza on its panel of lawyers. Also responsible for rendering legal opinions on a wide variety of issues relating to creation of mortgages/charges and transfer of property in respect of loan facilities provided to the banks’ corporate customers.
