• Plans, leads, controls and facilitates quality, food safety and HACCP certifications and surveillance audit processes of the catering facility;
• Validates HACCP compliance and quality systems by regular inspection of outlets to ensure that standards are followed and maintained during operations;
• Develops measures to maintain and improve the quality and food safety of food served to customers by identifying hazards and deviations within the food flow from receiving until service;
• Conducts risk analysis and audits all critical food preparation areas and monitors implementation of established HACCP procedures and quality policies;
• Ensures that all prerequisite programs needed for HACCP certifications are followed and maintained by the operations;
• Handles quality, food safety and product inquiries, concerns and complaints and investigates the root cause of such cases to ensure corrective actions and preventive measures are made;
• Conducts basic and intermediate hygiene and HACCP awareness trainings for all food handlers in compliance with the mandatory requirements of Abu Dhabi Municipality;
• Ensures and verifies the implementation of quality and food hygiene standards within the catering facility with regards to temperature control requirements of the food, monitoring personal hygiene practices, receiving of raw materials, storage, preparation and serving is done within the required standards;
• Establish and maintains vendor assurance programs and conduct food safety audits at suppliers’ warehouses and manufacturing units;
• Provide assistance and information as required by the third party auditor (HACCP auditor, Abu Dubai Municipality Food Inspectors and also assist on site contractor inspection from ENEC, KEPCO & HSJV); and
• Monitor and implement recommendations made by Pest control services.
• Responsible to arrange Medical Check -ups for all the food handlers.
• Send food sample to third party for testing for company compliance.
• Internal micro biological test for the entire kitchens (Ice Machine, water, after hand washed, Cooking Tools, Food Plates, and Food Containers) by using the 3MM micro test tools.
• Commanding the plant resource for Hazard analysis and risk assessment for task base procedures, guidelines, and standards.
• Playing a pivotal role in developing appropriate mandatory H.S.E. & Food Safety training matrixes for all employees and contractors along with Identifying, implementing, and maintaining appropriate training facilities, materials, and resources to support H.S.E. & Food Safety training needs.
• Successfully delivering providing training services to support the elements of the Company’s H.S.E. Management System; conducting Task-specific Safety Training.
• Steering an array of activities such as:
o Deliver Toolbox talks, P.P.E. Course, and other H.S.E. & Food Safety courses as required
o Conduct site H.S.E. Induction for Visitors and New Employees.
o Assure compliance with all safety measures related to the H.S.E. Trainings.
o Conducts training needs analysis for employees and contractors of the Company related to H.S.E. Policy and Procedures;
o Maintain a documented inventory of H.S.E. training, including specifications, requirements, curriculum, etc. Ensures that an accurate database of H.S.E. training is maintained against all employees and contractors. Assess the effectiveness of H.S.E. training and develops appropriate training solutions/changes to ensure a high level of quality and competency.
Implementation & Control All Kinds of Documents Related to ISO 9001:2008, OH&S 18001:2007, HACCP, SA 8000 & API standards. It’s Manuals, Procedures, Work Flows & Formats, Hazards Identifications. It’s Standard and all kinds Documentations.
Create HR Manual, procedures & formats for the various companies for implementation purpose.
Collect, compile and process all payroll data to ensure receipt of salaries by all employees
Assist, both internal as well as external auditors to enable them to complete the audit
Prepared the training records of the various companies in with the training are given by AM&QC.
Prepared organograms & job descriptions of different departments for different companies.
Make security plans, evacuation drills hand out etc.
Reimburse HR related bills according to entitlement, process payment vouchers for HR related services
To get issue appointment letters, conformation letters & all other correspondence.
To help in conduct employee appraisals and issue increment & promotion letters.
Hiring & Firing of Employee’s, according to the approval of top management.
Internal Audit schedule is send to various companies for auditing purposes.
Maintained the billing details of mobile phone & sim.
Other task assigned by the management.
Implementation & Control All Kinds of Documents Related to ISO 9001:2008 (International Standard Organization), OH&S 18001:2007 (Occupational Health Safety Assessment Service) & HACCP (Hazard Analytical Critical Control Point) & SA 8000 (Social Accountability (in progress) It’s Manuals, Procedures, Work Flows & Formats, Hazards Identifications. It’s Standard and all kinds documentations.
To establish, implementation and maintain the Quality Management system at VIPPL irrespective of any other assignments.
