• Execute fund transfers, perform cash positioning, and coordinate cash flows for Ford Motor and its subsidiaries

• Responsible for cash management of all Daimler entities in India; managing from Treasury Centre India, Chennai.
• Project lead for implementation of cash-pooling across all Daimler entities in India; coordination with Treasury Asia.
• Optimal utilization of liquidity supporting requirements of manufacturing, financial services and technology businesses.
• Investment of short term surplus in mutual funds/fixed deposits in approved counter parties as per Treasury policy.
• Recording of deals in Global Transaction System and ensuring adherence to global counterparty limits of Daimler AG.
• Hosting periodic service calls for all accounting heads/colleagues of different entities with cash management banks.
• Management presentations and MIS reports to top management; presentations for finance committee members/leaders.
• Hedging and Managing over USD 200Mn. worth of Forex exposures pertaining to Exports, Imports, ECB Borrowings and repayments, PCFC's and Associate receivables & payables.
• Monitor currency movements, form views based on Technical Analysis and strategize for effective Hedging and Trading.
• Responsible for initiating favorable deals with banks for the cash/spot rates and early delivery/cancellation charges for both exports and imports.
• Tracking Export Invoices, Import P.O's and Export Commissions on regular basis and ensuring timely Hedge Covers
are initiated for the same.
• Daily reporting to Special Director-Corp. Finance and generating weekly In-house views on various currencies & indices.
• Generate MTM reports, MIS reports, review back office reports and ensure timely reporting to Senior Management.
