Duties as follows:
- Triages patient according to their level of needs.
- Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
of patient care in accordance with the organizations policy and procedures
and the unit scope of service.
- Administers medications via intramuscular, subcutaneous routes according
to organization policies and procedures. Understands actions of
medication and contraindications, evaluates patient’s response and
identifies side effects and initiates appropriate action.
- Initiates intravenous insertion as needed for hydration.
- Assisting physician while performing minor suturing.
- Performs wound care for patients such as pressure ulcers and prevents
further complications or infections.
- Providing routine vaccinations to children and adults according to the
Chronic Disease Center guidelines.
- Ensures correct specimen labeling, packaging and recording prior to
collection.
- Assumes accountability and responsibility for own practice and does not
carry out tasks beyond level of competence.
- Chronic illness such as asthma,
hypertension, and diabetes.
- Prioritizes patient care based on ongoing assessment of patient needs
and initiates appropriate action and reports to immediate supervisor or
physician as appropriate.
- Acts as a patient advocate to support the patient’s rights and dignity
at all times.
- Responds to all levels of emergencies according to the organizations
policies and procedures.
- Practices patient / family health education.
As an occupational health nurse, I independently observe and assess the worker's health status with respect to job tasks and hazards and directly reports to the occupational health doctor and clinic manager. Furthermore, I work in alliance with the medical team in all of the labor's accident and Emergency cases which may arise.

Under the general direction of Chief of ICU and Charge nurse. Performs overall registered nursing care. Maintains optimum standards of nursing care and practice through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. Adheres to the ICU and Hospital policy.
Under the direction of the Medical Director and Head nurse. Performs the overall nursing care and maintains optimum standards of nursing care and practice through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
