Effectively and efficiently manage the Workshop and provide the best maintenance facility in Somalia providing support to light vehicles, trucks, MHE and other mechanical equipment under Workshop assets list.
· Provide fleet management for RA Somalia;
· Provide fleet management advice to clients as required. Guide, manage & supervise drafting and implementation of maintenance plans as per manufacturers specifications and applicable conditions;
· Identify suitable problem solving solutions and estimating costs and timescales;
· Assist and direct a team on selection and recommendation of materials as per the manufacturer`s manuals;
· Maintain sufficient stocks of materials. Design and implement formal budgeting, planning and ordering of parts and consumables against timeframe and in conjunction with positive cash flow;
·Ensure maintenance/repairs are completed on time as per the Scope Of Work, specifications, within the estimated budget and to the Clients/users satisfaction;
· Act as QA for all workshop works completed. Maintain (generate where not available) vehicle histories;
· Ensure all billing is accurate and timely. Provide quotes where requested;
· Ensure complete accountability of workshops equipment and materials;
· Actively seek new customers;
· Plan, train and direct your team on activities concerned with the fleer management;
· Sequence and monitor the mobile teams work schedules;
· Ensure all work is in accordance with H&S Legislation. Represent RA International on client negotiations as required;
· Ensure the Workshop is run effectively. Maintain H&S registers, logs as required/appropriate;
· Liaise through Supply chain with suppliers and ensure maximum savings are achieved without compromising quality;
· Ensure Job cards and related billing records are maintained (hard and soft copy);
· Liaise with Finance department to ensure all suppliers invoices are accurate and are paid on time in accordance with agreements;
· Plan, develop and manage maintenance plans for all fleet across Somalia Operation liaising with Clients, vendors and visiting the remote sites;
· Direct utilization of Company`s assets to assure highest cost effectiveness;
· Ensure all equipment within the area of responsibility is used correctly and training is undertaken in this area, where necessary, and recorded;
· Be responsible for interviewing new candidates under your department and provide them with deliverables once hired;
· Be responsible for all manpower management under your remit and also for thorough evaluating their technical skills and conducting appraisals. Maintain appropriate records;
· Provide regular updates and reports to Country Manager;
