1. Lead the development of scope and supervise fabrication of twelve (12) pressure vessel, shell & tube heat exchanger and air-finned coolers for Asset Life Study 3.0 Project which complied to ASME Section VIII Div. 1, TEMA, API 660, API 661, and Petronas Technical Standard (PTS). Scope were executed successfully within stipulated timeframe.

2. Lead the develoment of scope for maintenance repair, maintenance painting and insulation works for Turnaround and non-Turnaround windows related to pressure vessels, heat exchangers, feed furnaces, boilers and solid handling equipment based on requirements from API 510, ASME PCC2, NBIC, PTS & MRCSB’s MI procedures.

3. Lead the development of scope and supervised replacement of pressure vessel and heat exchangers during Turnaround and non-Turnaround window. Scope were executed successfully without concerns and within allocated budget.

4. Provided technical support to execution team for work to be executed within and outside of Turnaround window for Asset Life Study 3.0 Project.

5. Supervised, challenged and approved technical study on solid handling equipment (i.e. Open & pipe conveyor system) and Marine Loading Arm for MRCSB. Recommendation papers were approved by Management for execution.

6. Provided independent review on TULIP Pipeline project as Mechanical Engineer (Engineering & procedure review, Project Independent Review).

1. Lead a group of team (Inspection, maintenance, operation, technologist) to develop maintenance plan for atmospheric storage Tank based on Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology.
a. Utilizing Shell's tank Risk Reliability and Maintenance (RRM) methodology in determining next inspection interval for tank roof, wall and annular plate.
b. Conducted risk identification workshop for storage tank RRM input.

2. Appointed as inspection lead engineer for area C & defect works during Jan 2013 PSR1 plant turnaround, mainly focusing on equipment CF renewal, static equipment technical issues, cleaning quality, emergent works & inspection contractors management.

3. Plan and execute ONLINE INSPECTION on storage tanks (Double deck floating roof, single deck floating roof, Fixed cone roof, Fixed dome roof, Insulated tanks, LPG Bullets).
a. External visual inspection (bund wall, external shell wall, external roof, tank pad, external annular plates, secondary seal, wind girders, top platform, access way, foam containment system, coatings).
b. Point UTTM, Shell wall & annular plate thickness profiling.

4. Plan and execute OFFLINE INSPECTION on storage tanks (Double deck floating roof, single deck floating roof, Fixed cone roof, Fixed dome roof (internal aluminum membrane)).
a. Internal visual inspection (guide poles, aluminum membranes, pontoon, primary seal, bottom plates, annular plates, internal of roof plates and shell wall, flexible roof drain, sump, pressure vacuum valves, foam containment system, internal reinforcement ring).
b. Supervised UTTM thickness profile of bottom plates & annular plates.
c. Inspection on repaired bottom plates as per API653 (patch plates).

5. Responsible for development of Integrity Reference Plan (IRP) and review of shutdown & fabrication QAQC plans of static equipment (storage tanks, heat exchanger, reactors, distillation column, pressure vessels).
a. Determination of Inspection hold points.
b. Development of SOE as per damage mechanism suggested in API 571, equipment past records and industry’s recommended practices.
