Installation and Administration of Network Management software (Telecommunication Switch).
Configure the Network Gateways by properly addressing the ports capacity.
Adjust the routing as per LCR (Least Cost Route).
Update the routing table in Network Management Software with appropriate priorities assigned to the Network Gateways.
Control and Monitor the status of Network Gateways of Network Management Systems in order to ensure the stats as per the requirement.
Monitor the alarms of all Network Elements throughout the Operations and Network Management Software.
Perform periodical maintenance routine activities according with existing procedures.
Monitor the Network Elements alarms from the Network Operations Center consoles, identify and replace the faulty parts and / or inform other maintenance personnel as per the equipment type, location or complexity.
Provide shift reports to NOC Manager about all the events occurring in the network and logs them within the online Data.
Troubleshoot the tickets raised by customers by understanding the issue properly.
Escalate the issue to higher level as per the ticket complexity.
Optimize the routes in order to deliver high performance stats.
Co-ordinate with L2 Engineers to get the issue resolved on priority basis.
Check the stats of Network Gateways on interval basis to provide pro-active tuning.
Configure Gateway groups to ensure dedicated ports capacity to customers.
Check periodically the Interrupt Analysis of Network Gateways and troubleshoot the gateway which has more interrupts.
Record all the information regarding the outages (description of the event, actions taken, implicated persons / teams, timing and results).
Offer assistance for Field Maintenance Teams and / or Hardware Technicians for clearing hardware faults.
