Community Mobilization and Awareness Raising Team Leader في Action Against Hunger - ACF

• Provide support for the definition and follow-up of the Assessment, hygiene and water management base’s projects.

• support the development/reviewing and implementation of procedures and processes that will ensure smooth running of the Azraq Program logistics function.

• Preparing payment documentation relating to areas of responsibility, having them approved and submitted to finance for payment.

• Ensuring that good and supplies received are analysed, ensuring quality and quantity meets requirement and documentation provided are accurate; filling in the necessary forms and have them authorised accordingly; where necessary ask for technical support for quality verification of technical items
• When needed, visiting vendors warehouse locations during packing and loading to ensure goods loaded for distribution meets request requirement.
• Being the focal point and person in charge of casual labour for loading/offloading good and supplies as and when needed
• Requesting payments of casual labour staff as and when necessary
• Making sure warehouse is clean, fumigated and necessary furnishing in place for receiving goods and supplies
• Developing stores consumption reports for accountability and reporting purposes
• Issuing all necessary camp entrance permits for Vendors and the same time for all National and International Staff, volunteers and visitors.

• Identification and referrals of cases, and follow-up of referrals: this includes providing an open and safe space for refugees to raise concerns, and referring them to the appropriate agencies and following up to ensure that credible and appropriate action has been taken;
• Case management: this includes ensuring that basic services and security, community and family supports, referrals to INGOs working in the camp through established referral channels such as emails, phone calls, and referral online sheets.
• Information Sessions: to familiarize new arrivals with camp protocols and help manage expectations with regard to camp facilities. Information sessions will direct individuals to services available within the camp, such as food and NFI distribution points, and explain procedures for accessing health care, education, psychosocial support services.
• Identification of community representatives and manage meeting of them and setting up community committees based on traditional community structures and dynamics to assess and address various issues around coping with life at the camp. One aspect of such committees will be to identify, advocate for, and obtain improvements in living conditions in the camp.
• Focal point for the Case Management and outreach referral process.
• Prepare case management plan and outreach plan and provide support if needed.
• Contributing the Community representatives and the community services meeting inter-agencies working group inside the camp and provide my line manager with the reports.
• Reflecting the feedback on regular basis after follow up with the inter agencies working in the camp.
• Sharing all the NFI recommendations which are coming from UNHCR adding to this making sure that all announcements disseminated through information dissemination channels.
• Participate in cash distributions and food parcels to refugees according to plans and assessment of their needs.
