hours (kWh) of electricity per year, which is equivalent to approximately one percent of
Jordan's annual energy output.
Project Manager with the Shamara Holding Group Company (Contracted through Voyage
Global Energy - UK) at the Shatt Al-Basra 10 x 125 MW GE Frame 9 E Simple Cycle Gas Turbine
Power Plant Project. The Gas Turbines are designed to run on dual fuel; Natural Gas and Light
Distillate Fuel Oil. The Project is an 18-month EPC Project worth 350 million US Dollars for the
Ministry of Electricity (excluding the price of the GTs).

and followed up with the Contractors' QA/QC personnel to verify proper material and
installation.

welder qualifications. Supervised the Performance testing, Commissioning and Turnover
Packages of the Simple Cycle (Gas Turbine) and Combined Cycle (Gas Turbine and Steam
Turbine).
Reviewed all the tender documents and the approval of the most suitable Contractor to
perform the task based on the result of the contractor qualification evaluation documents.
Reviewed the mechanical design drawings submitted by the local design offices and
negotiated the contracts with local contractors based on their qualifications.
Directed the mechanical works for the erection, commissioning and start-up of the Gas
Turbines in coordination with operations and maintenance personnel of power plant
projects for Saudi Consolidated Electric Company.
Reviewed Gas Turbine operational modes and recommended procedures to extend
turbine combustion, hot gas path and compressor component lives.
