Nominated as Subject Matter Expert, I am supporting Saudi Aramco Upstream, downstream, Petrochemicals and Refineries Assets within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Asset Integrity, Materials and Corrosion. My duties include but not limited to the Following:
 Interface with plant departments specialist team to support or resolve material & corrosion aspects.
 Review the contractor’s activities to evaluate the outcome and provide assessment.
 Develop the corrosion management program with all requirements according to SAES-A-133, including corrosion loops, material selection diagram, RBI, CP plan, coating map, integrity operating windows, on stream inspection drawings, corrosion monitoring strategy.
 Coaching the assigned personnel in the corrosion and metallurgy team and recommend annual training plan for each engineer.
 Technically support repair and replacement specifications in modification projects, including all metallurgical aspects, repair techniques, materials selection, inspection and testing requirements,
 Evaluate coating conditions and recommend best practices option for maintain coating protection durable.
 Corrosion rate calculations using wood ECE 5.6 software, based on the heat and mass balance analysis and process conditions of the equipment or piping circuit.
 Create and develop qualitative RBI assessment based on corrosion loops and mechanisms and participate in the quantitative assessment by utilizing API RBI software.
 Carry out fitness for service for piping and equipment based on API 579 requirements.
 Provide economic corrosion mitigation methods to overcome the corrosion potentials.
 Optimize chemical inhibition program based on corrosion rates
 Planning, coordinating and implementing online corrosion monitoring & control program including coupons, electrical resistance probes and liner polarization resistance probe
 Identify integrity operating windows (IOW) to determine the different variables that could affect the integrity and reliability of a process unit.
 Apply the cathodic protection plan and analysis of cp data to ensure optimum protection.
 Provide support for special corrosive environments as like high H2S/CO2 by proper materials selection and corrosion simulation studies.
 Prepare the corrosion management activities and review inspection plan with identify the CAPEX and OPEX.
 Create documents as corrosion management, procedures, corrosion investigations, and reports.
 Create a root cause analysis reports to investigate the causes and provide recommendation to mitigate the reasons for failure.
 Coordinate with the third parties contractors for specific tasks ( e.g. lab screening, chemical treatment, corrosion monitoring systems, cathodic protection, …) by create a scope of work and evaluate the technical bids.
 Reliability improvement using growth analysis by collecting, modelling, analysing and interpreting data
 Coordinate with all stockholders regarding corrosion and integrity aspects.
 Apply and follow codes/standards \[ASME, ASTM, API, NACE, EN, BS/ISO, MSS‐SP\]
 Ensure that all produced deliverables are complied with qa/qc and iso system requirements of the company.
 Ensure that company health and safety, environmental and quality management procedures.
