RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality Control phase:

To supervise the following activities as part of the EL-Azhar Road Tunnel Project handing over to the end-user (*National Tunnel Authorities).
• Installation, Inspection, and testing of the Ventilation System.

• Installation, Inspection, and testing of Elevators.

Batching Plants, Procurement & logistics phases:

• To ensure respecting the project master schedule by ensuring the delivery of adequate supply (Quality & Quantity) of concrete in time and according to the project requirement as indicated by planning Department forecasts.
• To optimize the inventory of different raw materials (Cement, Aggregates, Admixtures…etc.) improving the profitability of the project.
• To ensure proper allocation of supplied quantities to the different sites of the project to facilitate cost allocation for the cost control department.
• To Supervise and manage a vast transportation network (6 cement trailers - Banana Trucks, 20 Truck mixers, 2 fixed concrete pumps, 2 mobile concrete pumps, and 6 loaders) plus a huge, subcontracted number of trucks to transfer the raw materials from Cement factories to Silos to Batching plants and finally to sites.
• To guarantee the high performance of the patching plant equipment (Two Batching plants BETP with 72 cubic meters per hour normal capacity and two other plants ELBA with 100 cubic meters per hour normal capacity) by carrying out the routine maintenance programs and any repairs required. Also to be responsible for dismantling/transportation/ re-allocation of the Batching plant equipment as per the project requirements.
• To establish a control system to monitor the inputs and outputs of each Batching plant and the consumption of each site from each plant.
• To maintain a good relationship with suppliers and at the same time to make sure that each item has more than one qualified supplier.
• To participate and guarantee the easy flow of work between the project's different departments.

Accomplishments:

• To be one of the first local employees to hold this post replacing expatriates.
In 2001, we celebrated the production of One million and five hundred thousand cubic meters. With the highest monthly concrete production rate achieved in the Middle East.

The company was established to cover the needs of the local market of welded steel pipes, later the company started to export its products to USA, Italy, Germany, Cyprus, India, Puerto-Ricco, and most Arab countries. The company has the ISO
9002 certificate for production of welded steel pipes, and an API 5L certificate to produce petroleum pipes.

Responsibility:

• To supervise the production line of assembling the diferent Steel pipes products (Round cross section, square cross section, diferent cross section area…etc.).
• Optimizing the consumption of raw materials leads to increasing the profitability of the company.
• To ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring that the correct material is supplied on time and in accordance with the customer requirements and meeting the company quality standards. Leading to maintaining and improving the positioning of the company in the market.

Accomplishments:

Re-design the production shifts to maximize the workforce output and minimize the operating time. The result was a significant decrease in the operating expenses and increased the overall profitability of the company.
