Position: Project Engineer
• Perform Third Party Design Review & Design Certification for Conceptual Design, Detailed Design and Pre-commissioning of Gas Network as per applicable International Codes & Standards and ADNOC Distribution Design Guidelines.
• Review Pipe Sizing Calculation, Cause & Effects Diagram for NG and SNG System Installations
• Review design for Synthetic Natural Gas Plant, Gas Distribution Piping inside Building and Underground Gas Distribution Network.
• Review material selection & specification.
• Perform Third Party Inspection during installation, testing and commissioning.
• Review Project Dossier (Method Statements, Cause & Effects, etc.)
• Prepare Reports & Certificates
PROJECT & INTERFACE ENGINEER at Wood Group Kenny Abu Dhabi, UAE (Client: ADNOC Distribution)
• Lead Project Engineer for EPC work of gas network
• Managing Engineering/Procurement/Construction/Commissioning interfaces: physical, logistical, informational,
• Coordinate the execution of the Detailed Design and procurement activities; in particular coordinate all interfaces between EPC contractor and company.
• Identify the need for and ensure appropriate reviews and audits are implemented to support assurance of interface management performance.
• Tracking and expediting critical equipment and materials.
• To maintain clear and effective interfaces within the Authorities Gas Asset team, particularly the site based project team/s.
• Ensure that contractor submits Plant Operating Manual, Safeguarding Manual and project instruments data is logged in SAP PM
• Maintain all design and procurement related communications, documents and records.
• Ensure that own actions and those of EPC contractor are conducted in accordance with the Company's HSE management system Company procedures.
• Conduct weekly meeting and as site visit during construction stage.
• Manage the project plan and scheduling
• Update, develop specifications, design criteria and guideline in accordance with adopted standards and specifications together with industry best practice and HSE standards.
• Develop comprehensive specifications, guideline and design criteria for, gas Networks, LPG & SNG plant in accordance with adopted standards and specifications together with industry best practice and HSE standards.
• Management of contractors and sub-contractors on behalf of Client (ADNOC).
• Participate in Risk Assessment and Safety Management studies.
• Review Method statements and drawings for Pipeline Assets and coordinate for all Authority NOC’s and Permits.
• Making monthly, weekly and daily reports for Project team.
• Review and approval of Developers submittals for Natural gas /synthetic natural gas project
• Design and installation of the gas network.
• Design and Engineering of the Pressure Reducing Station of Natural Gas.
• Managing the design through to project lifecycle, to the highest standards ensuring quality and safety.
• Estimation of the additional gas network for the existing LPG, SNG and NG gas system
• Team Leader for the Commissioning of the New Gas System.
• Conducting gas site surveys, audits and meeting with customers, therefore excellent customer
• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of quality indicator
• Establish corrective/preventive action following QRQC
• Ensure that all quality activities are performed according to the manuals: ISO/TS, ISO14001
• Analyze customer product returns
• Prepare and maintain a control plan
• Identify and use appropriate statistical tools for monitoring and training production team
