Mechanical Maintenance Department Manager and Deputy Engineering Manager
o Manage & Lead Melt shop and Hot Rolling Mechanical Maintenance teams, PM, Trouble shooting, etc. 80 employees, 8 Engineers direct reporting.
o Effective Role in project phase including cold test, commissioning, hand over and start-up phases Technical and management activities.
o Failure Analysis and reverse Engineering in solving problems
o Manage & lead all types of repairs for all mechanical & Electrical repairs of plant machinery Inside & outside the plant.
o Spearhead technical management of the department including staff training
o Failure Analysis, studying required modifications and implementation for chronic problems solving.
o Mechanical Erection and commissioning for new equipment.
o Setting strategies for Mechanical Department in the company.
o Staff training - Technical & Managerial skills - and improvement.
Mechanical Maintenance Repair Workshops Department Manager 3 Years
o Managing & leading seven central workshops (Machining, Assembly, Fabrication, Hydraulic, Mobile equipment & Overhead cranes, technical office (DWG office and condition Monitoring)).
o Managing, leading and executing all repair activities inside and outside plants.
o Failure Analysis, studying required modifications and implementation for chronic problems solving.
o Mechanical Erection and commissioning of old repaired/new equipment.
o Setting strategies for central repair in the company.
o Setting plans for better utilization of workshops manpower in order to cover new plant with the same manpower (no manpower increase).

Due to my Long and deep experience in all related Maintenance activities,
I am working as a Technical and Management Instructor in the Maintenance & Industrial fields, in Industrial & Petrolium sectors.
Through OGS (Oil & Gas Skills (Petroleium skills developer) and Petromaint (Petrolium Maintenance Main Contractor) since 2008, and now I am fully dedicated in this job since middle of Feb. 2012.

Position: Mechanical Maintenance Department Manager
It is a project with 1.5 Bilion pounds budget.
The sugar is produced from beet, with a daily capacity of 10000 ton/day. The company is under construction, and expected to start production by 1st quarter of 2013.
Details of position:-
o Managing all 2nd hand Rotary and Stationary equipment rehabilitation while meeting required quality and dead line date of the project (achieved).
o Setting Criteria for equiment rehabilitation and acceptance tests,
o Managing Technical and commercial evaluation of all new equipment, shared with ASC top Management,
o Determination and applying required strategies of Mechanical Maintenance through the whole plant.
Part of Achievements
** Rehabilitation Contractors performance raising.
** Mechanical team skills and performance developed although three of the team members are juniors and 1st time through maintenance role.
Maintenance Planning & Control Manager
(Total years of experience in maintenance planning ~9.5 years (Aug.94~Nov.97)(Jan2004~Oct 2010) including 2 years in maintenance repair section a part of our job was planning).
Details of position:-
o Planning and issueing maintenance annual & monthly shutdown plans,
o Technical Studying, Planning & scheduling plants' repairs' critical activities using (Microsoft Project software) applying CPM & PERT methods during planned or unplanned shutdowns,
o Studying & Managing resources assigning & control,
o Coordination between maintenance and production sections for plants shutdowns,
o Reporting for department & general managers for shutdown activities and situation,
o Budget follow-up & control.
Achievements (part):
** Decreasing the outsource for repair activities.
** Change the thoughts and attitudes of working force.
Position: First Engineer (Mechanical Maintenance section)
(Nov.97 ~ Sep.98) (Jan.03 ~ Jan.04 As 1st Engineer)
Details of position: -
Mechanical Maintenance Site & Assembly Shop Repair 1st Engineer ( for Rolling & Flat Mill plants)
• Technical studying & detail procedures for plants' repairs' activities,
• Studying resources requirements (including manpower, cranes, tools, etc….),
• Supervising, technical support & responsible for equipment OVHL and assembly at shop (as gear reducers, water pumps, rollers, fans, …etc…),
• Supervising, technical support & responsible for repair items execution at site during Periodical, Minor, Major & Emergency shutdowns,
• Training of workers technical & Safety,
• Work standards preparation.
Achievements (part):
** Saving more than 200, 000 LE and avoid BMP#2 intentionally stoppage due to Overhead crane trouble by applying non conventional method for repair.
Position: First Engineer (Mechanical Maintenance section)
Rolling Mill Mechanical Maintenance 1st Engineer
(Including Overhead cranes Maintenance).
Details of the Position:
• Review daily maintenance activities & inspection reports.
• Inspection sheets & plans developing and issuing.
• Preventive & corrective maintenance activities developing, scheduling, implementation and reviewing results.
• Preparing and control maintenance budget.
• Trouble shooting and correction.
• Modifications and projects study, execution&follow up.
• Work standards preparation.
• Training working groups (Technical & Safety).
Part of the achievements
** Overhead cranes inspection sheet and procedure. Issueing, and training the craft people to execute.
** Decreasing the unneccessary activities during shutdowns of rolling mill (Six Sigma principles).
** Modifications of equipment repairs’ procedures as pushout M/C drive spindles (saving 20, 000 $/year).
** Increase the efficiency of workers for trouble shooting.
