• From May 2004 until now: working as dye house and laboratory manager in Coats Egypt.
Principal accountability:
1. Ensure optimal allocation of trained resources within the dye house unit to achieve lead times and targets set out in the Annual Plan.
2. Ensure all operational procedures carried out by production personnel follow Coats Best Practise procedures, Work Instructions and or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
3. Streamline operations by constantly monitoring work practices, work flows and processes and take remedial action to streamline operations as necessary.
4. Continually drive productivity and efficiency improvement in all facets dye house operations (as measured by all KPI such LpMpD, RFT, OHK, ............through carful review and analysis of these performance indicators.
5. Ensure all Wrong First Time (WFT) batch details are accurately recorded in full for all failed lots.
6. Co-ordinate and deliver all cross training within the team to provide greater flexibility in the allocation of resources and to deliver productivity improvements.
7. Achieve and sustain a high level of safety awareness and compliance among all Dye house staff by constantly monitoring compliance with Health and Safety SOP and machinery operation SOPs, and taking steps to eliminate all risk factors and potential hazards.
8. Continually promoting the principles of 5S.
9. In conjunction with Quality Department, receive and investigate all customer shade complaints and recommend/take corrective action as appropriate.
10. Ensure the machine programs agree with production and are in line with global profiles.
11. Monitor daily all relevant KPI details.
12. Communicate effectively on colour development issues with other Coats units, as necessary.
