During my Civil Engineering studies at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, I completed several academic projects and specialized courses that strengthened my technical and teamwork skills: • Key Courses: Structural Analysis, Reinforced Concrete & Steel Design, Soil Mechanics, Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, Transportation Engineering, and Project Management. • Graduation Project I (GP1): Hydraulic and Hydrologic Design of Water Systems for Al-Naseem City – Designed sustainable water transmission and distribution networks using EPANET, Excel, QGIS, Allievi, and Fire Flow. Tasks included water demand forecasting, transmission line design, pump selection, and fire protection system design. • Graduation Project II (GP2): Expanded the study to flood protection and resilience planning – Conducted hydrologic modeling with HEC-HMS, HEC-SSP, QGIS, and hydraulic design using HY-8 and Hydraulic Toolbox. Designed flood diversion channels and culverts, performed rainfall-runoff analysis with 64 years of data, and developed cost optimization strategies. • Collaboration & Leadership: Worked within a 4-member team, leading in data analysis, modeling, and technical documentation. • Technical Skills: Proficient in engineering software including EPANET, HEC-HMS, HEC-SSP, QGIS, HY-8, Allievi, Fire Flow, Hydraulic Toolbox, Excel, and AutoCAD. These projects and courses enhanced my ability to combine theory with practical design, preparing me to contribute effectively as a fresh graduate civil engineer.
