Key Responsibilities:
Detail Engineering & Design of substation/switchgear room for various plants.
Load flow analysis and short circuit analysis.
Calculation of Loadlist, Transformer sizing, HT< cable sizing, Earthing/Lighting system etc. as per IEC/IEEE & IS.
Techno-Commercial evaluation of various vendor offers.
Manufacturing Clearance & Technical evaluation of different equipment
Preparation of Purchase Requisition (PR) on IFS System (ERP platform)
Review of technical document and coordinating with client for document approval.
Selection & sizing of equipment as per IEC, IEEE and British Standards.
Finalization of BOQ from various layout drawings.
Review of P&ID, SLD, earthing, cable route layout, drawings etc.
Preparation & Estimation of master BOQ.
Coordinating with site team on regular basis.
Inspection & FAT test of various electrical equipment including Switchgear & LV Panels, Transformers and DG Sets
Supervises a team of Electrical Draftsmen.

After getting the site exposure, I was assigned as a Project Engineer in Project Dept for a short duration of 3 months.
Project: BWSSB STP project at K&C Valley, Bangalore
My responsibilities were:
Prepare Purchase order & other documents as required for the project on ERP system.
Co-ordinate with CPD team for arriving at vendor list for client's approval.
Co-ordinate with Planning team to prepare project program.
Float enquiry to get techno-commercial offer from different vendors
Evaluates vendor offers and their payment & taxes structure.
Monitor vendor documentation and manufacturing status till the material is dispatched to site.
Got an unique opportunity to learn and work as an Executive Trainee on
•-Water Treatment Plant in Dambulla, Sri Lanka (4 months)
•- Super Critical Thermal Power Plant of capacity 3*660 MW in Lalitpur, India.(4 months)
My responsibilities were:
Execution of all electrical works for the Water treatment plant (RO-DM, ETP, PTP, SSF).
Erection and Testing of 11kV HT Switchgear panels and Transformer (2 x 2.5MVA), MCC, PMCC panels, etc.
Erection of cable tray support, earth grid layout, lighting layout of the WTP plant
Preparation of FQP documents, inspection calls and testing protocols.
Coordination between client and contractors.
Familiar with the IEC codes for selection of electrical equipment such as IP rating, Insualtion Class and IE class (IEC 529, IEC 85, IEC 34)
