Duties & Responsibilities
• Handle and guide all HR & Office Administration management. Functions include Staff relations, Staff to Management communication, Office Administration, Updates Report to for the high management, Employee’s performance management & office administration, effective management practices, training/development and modern management.

as a planning tool.
• Help maintain compliance with Qatari Labour Law and reduction of lifting costs by managing a seven day shift system to
ensure every worker has one day off in a week.
• Assist in planning for Friday works adjusting surplus manpower of one station to others to help optimize efficiencies.
• Match site requirements with existing manpower and advice on shortfalls and surplus each week.
• Contact subcontractors for manpower availability.
• Mobilize and demobilize agency riggers as per construction demands.
• Organize transfer of workers from station to station and from camp to camp.
• Cost code manpower as per site allocation and usage for budget monitoring.
• Update and forward lifting head count reports to HR Manager and Lifting Manager on weekly basis.
• Develop and maintain staff leave calendar and assist in the organization of replacement for Staff and workforce on
vacation periods.
2.Time Keeping
• General time records for PSH workers and staff
• Submit and seek Lifting Manager’s approval for time sheets.
• Submit and seek Tunnel management approval on time sheets and bonus hours.
• Submission of PSH workers and staff timesheet to Pay Roll Dept.
• Check and verify agency workers time sheets against site records.
• Check and verify agency manpower invoices prior to Lifting Manager approval. Cost savings of for corrections have
realized savings of 14-29k QAR per invoice.
• Follow up for justification of Friday and Extra Overtime with Appointed Persons.
• Follow up approval of the Friday and daily Extra OT with station managers.
• Approval of Friday and daily extra OT with Lifting Manager.
3.Budget & Cost Control
• Provide support to Appointed Persons (AP) including the production of weekly/monthly costs, budgets and forecasts.
• Challenge the Appointed Persons and Supervisors to help maintain cost control while progressing the works.
• Assist in the overall financial management of the Lifting Team.
• Advise the Appointed Persons and Crane Supervisors the most efficient methods of providing manpower when the need
arises.
• Prepare monthly reports, forecasts and budget in consultation with Lifting Manager.
• Review the results and forecasts in conjunction with the Cost Control Dept.
• Monitor Lifting Team costs and production of spreadsheets for analysis.
• Monitoring time cards and monthly invoices from subcontractor manpower suppliers.
• Participate in management accounting tasks (overhead variance analysis, costing corrections etc.) with Subcontractors.
• Contribute to the achievement of strict financial controls in all areas. (Manpower and lifting equipment).
4.Rating system for Riggers, Operators and Supervisors
• Develop and process manpower rating system for safety and productivity reasons.
• Monitor and collate system on a two-weekly basis.
• Update system and produce a report and maintain for monthly records.
• Identify strengths and weaknesses in team and forward list to Lifting Manager for training and advancement purposes.
5.Meeting Minutes
• Arrange weekly general meetings, emergency meeting, and informal meetings.
• Note meeting minutes and update meeting minutes file.
• Publish MoM to all attendees of the meeting for their information and action.
• Schedule and send invitations to attendees for the next meeting.
6.Other Tasks
• Organize Lifting Team events for safety and celebrations
