- Ensure the company quality management system (ISO 9001) meets or exceeds the Client’s expectations and the standards/specification requirements, legal aspects and company needs by working together with all the departments and personnel involved.
- Planning, organizing and conducting internal, external and follow up audits for verifying effective implementation of the quality system, contract quality plans, reporting to the management and ensuring that the systems defects revealed by the audits are resolved by the appropriate departmental heads. Also responsible for conducting internal quality audits for other projects within the company.
- Co ordination and proper interaction with site laboratory, consultants, sub contractors and project management team. Conduct regular site inspections (pre inspection and inspection along with consultants), Co ordinate with consultants for material inspections and third party tests. Flag up non conformities if any discrepancies found and follow up with site team for close out. Ensuring corrective and preventive actions are taken to avoid repetitions of non conformances.
- To prepare method statements, material submittals, prepare inspection and test plans, and project quality plan, conduct technical briefings. To ensure proper control on receipt/ distribution of contractual documents and drawings with assistance from document controller and to ensure all valid contract documents are being used on site.
- Attending weekly meeting related to quality oriented issues along with QAQC manger, Project management team and with sub contractors to develop and implement new systems and procedures to improve organizational efficiency and quality of operations through out the project.
