Roles & Responsibilities:
• Supervise Day-to-Day Site Activities: Manage and oversee daily construction operations, ensuring alignment with design specifications and project schedules.
• Monitor Construction Progress: Track project milestones and coordinate with various teams to maintain project timelines and avoid delays.
• Surveying and Site Layout: Assist in site layout by interpreting survey data, drawings, and plans for accurate execution.

• Prepare and Review Project Documentation: Assist in the preparation of drawings, technical reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure Compliance with Building Codes and Regulations: Guarantee that all construction practices adhere to local, regional, and international building codes, as well as environmental and safety regulations.
• Manage Resource Allocation: Oversee the efficient use of materials, manpower, and equipment to optimize project resources.
• Budget and Cost Control: Assist in maintaining project budgets by managing costs related to material procurement, labour, and subcontractor fees.
• Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution: Identify potential issues during the construction process and propose effective solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Facilitate Health & Safety Protocols: Ensure all team members are aware of and follow safety procedures, regularly inspecting safety practices on-site.
• Prepare and Submit Progress Reports: Provide daily, weekly, or monthly progress reports to project managers and stakeholders, highlighting key developments and any potential concerns.
• Inspection of Earthworks and Excavation: Monitor excavation and earthmoving operations to ensure stability, safety, and compliance with structural requirements.
• Client Interaction and Relationship Management: Communicate with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns or requests.
• Mentor Junior Engineers and Technicians: Provide guidance and training to less experienced engineers, fostering growth and improving team performance.

• Manage maintenance projects from planning through execution, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
• Ensure all work adheres to local building codes and safety regulations, with a strong emphasis on health and safety measures.
• Estimate material quantities and manage procurement for maintenance tasks, ensuring cost effective solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports on building conditions, maintenance work performed, and recommendations for future improvements.
• Respond promptly to emergencies related to structural damage, ensuring swift action to mitigate risks and restore building functionality.
