Responsible for the execution of IT functions and support. This includes managing IT operations to meet customer\group requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage Information Technology resources within budget with the ability to manage those resources in an emerging environment.
- Participate on all hardware and software evaluations.
- Maintains vendor contracts.
- Organize the technical solution and perform the analysis.
- Design and implement software systems, test, debug, provide technical support and maintenance.
- Represent the IT function at customer review meetings when appropriate.
- Assess systems and technology across multiple divisions, providing integration direction and support.
- Facilitate successful implementation of new software systems.
- Maintain quality service by recommending and enforcing organizational standards.
- Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions
- Manage operations in executing production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Perform liaison duties between users, operations, and programming personnel in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and providing appropriate training for IT support staff.
- Provide vision and management to the IT department
- Execute full life cycle software development.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
- Writing and testing code and then refining and rewriting as necessary.
- Consulting clients and colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems with a view to writing or modifying current methodology.
- Working closely with other staff, such as project managers, petroleum engineers and other developers.
- Investigating new technologies.
Responsible for teaching, training and coordinating college materials with
postgraduate and undergraduate students. Also provide support and training
for government employees.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Performs work according to the software quality process through
the execution of module, subsystem and system software
development, unit test and software integration procedures,
including creation and maintenance of standard software
documentation
* Provides general guidance, mentors and trains support and/or
professional staff
Responsible for performs information systems administrative procedures and maintains documentation that covers two or more functional areas including data control, applications training, data coordination and scheduling, data security administration, etc.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide IT client services and operations in support of desktop and central computing and standard office applications services.
- Perform hardware and software installs and upgrades.
- Install new operating systems; repair desktop systems.
- Perform equipment, network and software maintenance.
- Help desk and operations support.
- Analyze and resolve inter-connectivity and other problems that occur in a network environment.
- Test and evaluate products and applications associated with departmental administrative applications.
- Installs, tests, and maintains all types of cables and/or wiring found in a networked environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned
