Responsible of all media communication, plan and manage the media strategy to promote the company’s public image in media, locally, regionally and internationally.
Advisor to executive team, coaching on interaction with media and government officials and secure interviews with top management.
Communicate a strong and positive image of DP World in a professional manner to public.
Draft and write news releases, English & Arabic.
Create stories & features and pitch them to media.
Copywriting all Arabic marketing and media editorials.
Keynote addresses for company speakers, and support them with updated media FAQ for their reference.
Analyzing and evaluating media coverage; with comparison with competitors’ media activities.
Collect related news and develop short term communication plans once necessary.
Responds to press enquiries and ensure public information is provided adequately.
Maintain a network of media contacts.
Managing the public relation aspect of a possible crisis situation.
Managing media relationships of the client (DP World & Dubai Trade).
· Liaising on a daily basis with clients and the media.
· Relationship building and networking with media.
· Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs, for opportunities for clients.
· Working with the editorial team to develop client proposals, and distributing press releases to targeted media.
· Preparing regular reports and attending client meetings.
· Promoting news stories and features to the media.
· Assisting with the production of client publications.
