• Digital Airside Operations: Spearheaded the global digital transformation of the airport/ramp operations to efficiently manage the turnaround of the aircrafts across 160 countries. Introduced mobile devices for the operators to manage the workflow of the aircraft turnaround enabling users to capture real-time services information at the aircraft. Managed $20M Program with a large team distributed across the globe, going live within 8 months and leading the business change management that was a significant factor in global acceptance
• Digital Flight Deck: Head of the program to digitalize the flight deck of all Emirates aircrafts to achieve CEO’s vision ‘Paperless Flight Deck’. $16M program introduced tablets in the flight deck connected with the aircraft system providing contextual information to the crew about high profile passengers, trip information, in flight and destination weather and colleagues on board. Managed ‘C’ level executives by providing them regular updates on 1-1 basis.
• Next-Gen Weight & Balance: Turned around a failing $15M mission critical Next-Gen Weight and Balance program - critically important for an airline with large fleet. Re-negotiated IT contract with the supplier, restructured the program, and launched the system within 9 months. Integrated 25+ In house applications to fully automate information exchange in operations and managed the business change across 2 continents seamlessly
• Passenger Services Solution: Led multi-functional business & technology team to develop the new Passenger Services system. The solution significantly reduced number of key strokes users needed to issue boarding pass allowing them to focus on delighting the customers. Successfully managed a budget of $8M with a 40-member cross functional team from requirements inception, design & development to implementation.
• In-Flight Business Process Management: Directed all services, resources and project plans to set up a Business Management System on tablets that captured compliments and complaints of passengers on all flights. Slashed business costs by 50% by automating analytics on improving in-flight service. Used BI systems to slice-and-dice voluminous data, which revealed problematic in-flight products impacting quality

Led 20 staff from different IT streams and managed business change and stakeholders across all countries
• SAP for Logistics: Successfully managed the roll out of Warehouse & Transportation Management System in the Logistics division. The $4M project helped improved customer satisfaction by improving on-time deliveries and improved operational productivity by automating and streamlining fragmented logistics processes. Created detailed project plan with well-defined tasks, milestones, client sign-offs and specifications.
• Established Project Management Office PMO: Spearheaded the development of the first ever Program Management Office. Established best practices for project planning, business case management, costs and risks management for all in flight Projects by implementing a full Project Management suite across the organization.

Improved productivity through redesigned business process and system automation
