Main Roles & Responsibilities:
• Construction management for a fast-track Design and Build project. Managing design and supervision team of engineers from various disciplines including Architect, Civil, Electrical, infrastructure and Mechanical.
• Coordination with Client and Parsons Core team for design review and ongoing design/construction issues.
• Reviewing Interim payment applications, Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports prior to client’s submission.
• Chairing Weekly site Progress and quality Meetings and issuing Minutes of Meetings.
• Provide guidance to contractors regarding schedule, procedures, scope of work and required technical specifications.
• Review the Material submittals, Method statements, Prequalification of Contractors and suppliers, RFI’s and RFCs, Design drawings, As-built drawings in line with Contract documents.
• Reviewing the shop drawings and coordination drawings for each discipline prior to implementation and sites.
• Coordination and preparation of project documentation for internal and external audits.
• Coordination with Client and external stakeholders for handing over completed projects.
• Preparing handing over documents and required checklist to include in handing over package.
• Coordination with different stakeholders for utilities connections such as electrical supply, water supply, access roads.
• Ensures that the services of contractors and major construction equipment required by the project will be available at the appropriate time to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Establishes assignments for Construction Engineers for various work areas of construction operations, monitoring progress and recommending corrective action as necessary.
• Ensures effective implementation of all Company and client policies and procedures for quality and HSE.
• Serve as the primary contact as client representatives with contractors, and government representatives for construction related activities during visits & meetings.
• Responsible for the day-to-day Supervision of the Contractor structural works, Architectural Works, or others in line with Project requirements in the General and Particular Specifications for all running sites.
• Provide guidance to Site engineers for coordinating and monitoring structural & MEP works administration activities at sites.
• Proactively take part in the meetings held between the project management/engineering teams and the contractors and provide support in the cost and quantity estimation and review of the construction phase presented by the contractor.
• Provide support in supervising contractor and subcontractor works on site ensuring that these are executed as per drawings, specifications, plans and other contractual requirements.
• Provide support in ensuring that all the materials used and works executed are in line with the contract requirements.
• Assist in daily site visits and in reporting to the contractor about issues concerning work execution.
• Assist in ensuring that all safety and environmental planning is in place and that necessary measures are taken to avoid any accidents or incidents.
• Provide support in comparing planned work versus work executed, ensuring that all works are delivered on time and to the required quality and reporting any areas of unsatisfactory performance to the contractor, making sure that appropriate corrective action is taken.
• Assist in identifying and managing the project risks presented by the contractors and consultants, or due to the quality of materials, timely sourcing, delivery and cost of items procured, to institute risk avoidance, risk mitigation or risk-sharing measures.
• Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and an environmental attitude.
• Determine labour requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Responsible for day-to-day site work.
• Follow up with site engineers to ensure that work quality and progress.
• Interact with Project Manager for clarification in design/ RFI etc.
• Daily reporting about progress.
• Ensure that Communication regarding any changes in plan have reached the engineers and Sub-Contractor’s Representatives.
• Conducting regular job site inspections. Actively monitor the work environment for
• hazards.
• Identify and highlight possible risk on project.
• Assist in necessary project documentation.
• To watch and inspect the construction work and assure that it is done in full accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Supervising the works on site in accordance with the contract documents Inspecting and testing materials prior to their use at site as per sample approved by the consultant and ensuring removal of rejected material out from site.
• Checking of layout and setting out of buildings w.r.t. existing structures and site levels.
• Checking and ensuring that the site is arranged as per the set procedures.
• Ensuring the Management plan that all measures are taken for site safety.
• Ensuring that health and safety measures are adopted and followed to the full extent.
• Preparation of list of critical items and its close monitoring.

• Maintain all asset investment plans and ensure compliance to capital expenditure.
• Ensure accuracy for all operational requirements for projects and achieve all investment objectives.
• Evaluate all system capacity and analyze all production requirement and system deficiencies.
• Provide support to all operations and extension requests.
• Manage work as per component technical resource for all Water System Plans and assist to prepare all capital plans and project requirements.
• Analyze all engineering activities for all internal and external departments.
• Prepare required presentation for all regulatory agencies.
• Develop required to enhance performance of planning projects.
• Manage all communication and provide efficient feedback for all processes.
• Ensure optimal utilization of all common tools and processes.
• Prepare plans and schedule for all project delivery.
• Recommend appropriate improvements and ensure optimal quality of all project schedules and evaluate reports.
• Perform regular analysis of all schedule trends.
