Offshore Electrical System Design Engineering, Procurement, and construction support.

Performed power system protection activities such as relay and metering diagrams, relay coordination, short circuit, arc flash analysis, relay settings and settings files for major projects.

Coordination activities for power system studies utilizing ETAP and PSCAD for major project.

Provided internal consultancy and support for facility expansions (Yard and Camp), and supportive activities for out-of-kingdom offices.

Involved in preparation of various projects deliverables including engineering drawings, calculations, MRs, and system studies.

Projects main subjects involved in while working for the company includes some tasks (such as equipment layout, lighting, MRs, Battery and battery charger sizing …) related to substation design for Dhahran New Residential Area (115kV GIS and 13.8kV substation buildings).

Another subject involved in was design and installation of power system automation along with required upgrades to the existing 13.8kV switchgear which requires updating protection and relaying diagrams, developing the system automation architecture, preparing the PSA I/O list, along with other minor overall system modifications.

Worked on variety of small Saudi ARAMCO projects under sustainable business line.

Extensively involved in studying the overall integrity of the power system using ETAP software (Electric Transient Analyzer Program).

Involved in some Core of the Design work such as preparing E1Ls, CBLs, providing MTOs, TBEs, CCSs, panel schedules (PCS), calculation sheets (Cable Sizing, Electrical Load Calculation, Grounding Calculation as per IEEE STD 80-2000, CT sizing for protection), equipment specifications, drawing search activities and others.

Prepared technical reports for:
- Analysis of power system after performing required ETAP studies
- Cable sizing calculation
- Electrical load calculation
- Grounding calculation as per IEEE 80-2000
- CT sizing calculation for protection applications

Only one month of experience. I have been mainly involved in Samsung Training Program. Topics discussed under my training period include Flow Measurement, Pressure Measurement, Level Measurement, Leak Detection System and D.C.S (Distributed Control System) Communication Protocol.
