(BHS), Passenger loading Bridges (PLB), Security Screening Equipment (SSE), Aircraft Service
Equipment (ASE) and Horizontal & Vertical Transport System (HVTS) for various projects, which

includes preparing specifications, reports, schedules, drawings, simulations for each phases in design and
review of the drawings and documents from the contractors in supervision phase.
Major projects executed are
* Expansion of Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, Ethiopia:
Project includes expansion of the existing airport with newest technologies designed to increase the
capacity of the Airport and provide more comfort to the passengers.
Responsibilities: Leading the design and supervision of BHS, PLB, ASE, Auto Bag-drop and HVTS.
Conducting all the tests including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
for all the systems.
* Baggage Handling System (BHS) at Jabel Ali International Airport, Dubai:
Project includes modification of existing and adding new BHS in the Passenger Terminal Building.
Responsibilities: Designed the BHS in coordination with the architecture team as per the stakeholder
requirements within the available space. Involved in the testing & commissioning of the BHS during
the Supervision stage.
* Passenger Loading Bridges (PLB) and Aircraft Services at Bahrain International Airport
Project includes new PLBs for the extended airport building and converting some of the remote stands
into contact stands.
* Passenger Loading Bridges (PLB) and Aircraft Services at Concourse B, Dubai:
The project includes the demolishing of existing PLBs and Designing new PLB, which can
accommodate the updated Fleet mix.
Responsibilities: For the above two projects, Designed the PLBs along with other ASE such as Pre-
Conditioned Air (PCA), 400Hz Ground Power Unit (GPU), Visual Docking Guidance System
(VDGS) and Wet Services such as Potable Water System (PWS) and Vacuum Sewage System.
Coordinating the fuel hydrant system with different Engineering Consultant. Preparing the PLB
docking and Aircraft pushback simulations using AviPLAN. In addition, responsible to handle the
Variation Orders (during the Supervision Stage) pertaining to PLBs and ASE.
* Refurbishment of Nairobi International Airport, Kenya (Concept Design to Tender Design Stage):
The project includes design of complete demolition and redesigning of the Terminal 1B, 1C and 1D.
* Sharjah Airport Expansion Program, UAE (Concept Design Stage to Tender Design Stage):
The project includes design and Supervision of the expansion of the existing Airport Systems to
increase the capacity of passengers and to segregate the Arrival and Departure flow.
* Karbala International Airport, IRAQ (Concept Design Stage to Tender Design Stage):
The project includes new terminal designed in phases with increasing capacity from 3 million to 6
million, and then to 9 million passengers per year (3 stages of design) with new technologies and
features in the Airport for international passengers.
Responsibilities: Leading the design of BHS, SSE, PLB, ASE and HVTS of the above-mentioned
three projects.
* Baggage Handling System (BHS) at Dubai International Airport:
Project includes installation supervision of new BHS in Concourse A, connected to existing System
in Concourse B through an underground tunnel.
* Early Baggage Storage (EBS) at Dubai International Airport:
Project includes EBS system (Racks - Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Conveyors
Buffering System) at east and west sides of Concourse A and Concourse B and connecting to the
existing BHS.
* Improvements of Baggage Handling System at Dubai International Airport:
Project includes improvements of Terminal 1 and 3, Concourse A, B and C, which includes additional
conveying system, EBS (Racks - Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Conveyors Buffering
System), and Conveyors connection between Concourse B and C.

Responsibilities: For above-mentioned three projects, supervised the installation of the system as
Engineering Consultant and led the closeout process for above-mentioned three projects. Responsible
for QA/QC for the Contractor installations as well as document submissions.
* In addition to these main projects, my responsibilities included in design review of various projects
across the world and designing the solution for Competition projects
