1. Assisted in overseeing and coordinating ship repair projects related to machinery tasks, providing support to the project manager in managing team schedules, resources, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and scope.
2. Evaluated and finalized defect lists submitted by vessel owners, participating in meetings to ensure all defects were accurately identified and addressed in the repair process.
3. Identified and assessed defects onboard vessels, comparing findings with submitted defect lists to ensure comprehensive resolution and alignment with repair requirements.
4. Supported the allocation of work to contractors and OEMs, issuing provisional work orders, and ensuring tasks were executed within the defined scope and deadlines.
5. Collaborated with the Safety department to promote safety compliance across all repair tasks, ensuring risk mitigation strategies were effectively communicated and implemented.
6. Monitored contractor work to ensure adherence to the scope defined by the commercial department, assisting in the management of quality control and preventing scope creep.
7. Coordinated with vendors and OEMs to ensure the timely delivery of necessary parts and materials, minimizing delays and ensuring smooth project execution.
8. Assisted in organizing yard facilities and resources for contractors, ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials were available to support the repair work.
9. Verified work completion certificates by ensuring all required repair work documentation was signed by the vessel’s crew before departure, confirming successful
10. Reviewed contractor submissions for completed work, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and assisted in processing payments within the agreed-upon timeframe.

-Freight wings (P) Ltd. is a leading and reputedcompany in india carrying out transportation, alternative lifting and installation of heavy and over -sized packages using specialized and custom-build hydrualic systems.

Responsibilties :
-Supervising fabrication of equipment’s and structures in workshop
-Preparing despatch list of items and supervising loading of the same.
- Conducting site survey and coordinate with design department in preparing drawings and project
methodology.
- Supervising the mobilisation, assembly, operations, dismantling and dispatch of materials and structures
from project site.
- Preparing monthly cash flow for the assigned project.
- Assigning duties to the Forman, riggers, and helpers in daily basis etc..

2. Evaluation of detailed design documents submitted by the contractors with respect to contract specifications, terms and conditions.
3. Associated with preparation of tender specifications for various works and procurements.
4. Preparation of progress reports for the projects.
5. Evaluation of GFC and Co-ordinated drawings submitted by contractors regarding projects.
6. Evaluation of invoices submitted by the PMC with respect to contract and actual values achieved and subsequent payment processing.
7. Associated with Environmental Monitoring in both projects.

During my training, i got opportunity to work with two departments U&M department and Infra Projects Department

Roles assigned on me is as listed below:

A) UTILITY & MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT:

1. Preparation of technical comparison sheet for compressors from tender documents submitted by bidders.
2. Updating of Preventive maintenance status of compressors and pumps in SAP.
3. Maintenance of all dry type flash back arrestors.
4. Indent creation for procurements of consumables, pumps, compressors etc.
5. Maintenance of registers for tested hoses, manifolds, Air vessels, flashback arrestors etc.
6. Releasing of SES for payment of procured items.
7. Supervising Preventive maintenance of compressors and pumps.
8. Appling and reception safety permit for welding and other hot works on board and at docks from safety officers.

B) INFRA PROJECTS DEPARTMENT:

1. Evaluation of detailed design documents submitted by the contractors with respect to contract specifications, terms and conditions.
2. Associated with preparation of tender specifications for various works and procurements.
