• Reporting to Operations Manager.
• Process and coordinate all formal correspondence pertaining to renovations, maintenance, safety, and relocation (move-in, move-out) projects.
• Prepare reports, analyses data, and makes recommendations for improving
• Ensure that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
• Ensure that all maintenance technicians are aware of their schedule from time to time.
• Reviews the operations of shop/salon maintenance related equipment constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Oversee, schedule, coordinate, and perform maintenance and repair of equipment and systems including chillers, HVAC, fire detection, plumbing, electrical, phone systems, building security etc. with a team of supervisors and skilled and unskilled workers, carry out the inspection of facilities on a regular basis to detect maintenance issues including civil, MEP, firefighting, and Steam generator issues (examples include clogged drains, leaky ceilings and faulty electrical switches) and have them attended to immediately.
• Communicate directly with the Shop/SPA Manager to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
• Raise RFQs to external companies and subcontractors for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
• Engage and manage subcontractors and service providers ensuring that business disruptions are prevented.
• Oversee facility modifications, including obtaining estimates on equipment, labour, materials and other related costs and requirements
• Act as a lead for matters relating to Health and Safety ensuring Health and Safety processes are implemented and managed consistently and ensure that all facilities are operated in compliance with all local regulations.
