In-charge for the construction of Underground station for Chennai Metro
In charge for the construction of Underground section (3.2 Km) for Salaam Street Tunnel Project
Project: Sobha Daffodil, Dubai (3B+G+10 & 3B+G+4, Residential buildings)

Overall site in-charge of Sobha Daffodil Project, a 3B+G+10 & 3B+G+4) residential buildings at Jumeirah village, Dubai
Leading a team of engineers in executing the construction.
Making quality checklists and implementing quality and safety norms.
Preparing the overall program
Estimating and deploying the resources to achieve the schedule.
Controlling the over all costs and monitoring the same.
Coordinating for MEP drawings and other activities
Preparation of progress reports, reviewing and taking appropriate measures for possible slippages
Over all in-charge for all sites regarding the finalistion of form work vendors and ensuring timely delivery of form work systems
Contributions:
Planned and prepared a form work schedule for all sites with optimum utilization of material thus ensuring the over all costs much less than the provision.
Project: Dubai Metro Project, Dubai
Client: Road and Transport Authority, U.A.E.
Preparing method statements & leading a team of engineers in executing the construction of Al Ras Underground Station that included diaphragm wall by trench cutter, deep excavation, dewatering measures, strutting & construction of RCC box by top down method.
Making quality checklists and implementing quality and safety norms.
Preparing microprogramming in accordance with the overall program.
Preparing and reviewing of shop drawings and co-ordination with the design consultant
Coordinating for MEP drawings and other activities
Writing progress reports, reviewing and taking appropriate measures for possible slippages
Contributions:
Prepared and got the approval of the shop drawings based on the consultants’ design drawings well before the start of the job.
Effectively contributed towards the primary objective of handing over the shaft for TBM operations ahead of schedule.
Project: Dubai International Airport Expansion, Dubai
Client: Department of Civil Aviation, Government of Dubai
Executing the job as per the prepared method statements with international standards of quality and safety.
Preparing programmes, monitoring and reporting the progress, planning and procurement of resources.
Utilizing manpower to achieve desired productivity levels.
Coordinating with technical and design departments for necessary clarifications, for formwork design and issuance of drawings & for MEP works.
Contributions:
Successfully executed 35nos. of slabs of 1200sq.m. each with post-tensioning at 12days cycle per slab.
Efficiently completed all the necessary accessory structures and handed over for further works within the stipulated time frame.
Identified structural and drawing related discrepancies well before execution and extracted solutions to avoid delays.
Project: Delhi Metro Corridor Contract, New Delhi
Client: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation
Duration: Jul’01 - Feb’05
Prepared the method statements and led a team of engineers in executing the construction of New Delhi Underground Station that included diaphragm wall by trench cutter, Bored piling, sheet piling, deep excavation, dewatering measures, strutting, shotcreting, rock bolting and construction of RCC box.
Executing Architectural works, preparing of micro programming in accordance with the overall program.
Coordinating with the design department for technical issues for related activities and MEP works.
Writing milestone achievements and submittal to consultant/client, checking of sub-contractor bills & coordinating with system wide contractor.
Preparing progress reports, reviewing and taking appropriate measures for possible slippages.
Contributions:
Prepared the method statements of all the activities and got the approval of the consultant well before the start of the activity.
Excellent co-ordination for MEP and other system wide contractor works.
