 Review and comments contractor’s work program
 Monitor and update the contractors program and progress
 Review and accept/comment contractor’s material submittal
 Review and accept/comment contractor’s drawings and Supervise overall adherence to drawings, specifications, standards and schedules
 Giving site instruction based on the site condition where it defers from accepted design drawings
 Monitor work site safety and Carrying out risk assessment
 Interpretation and of contract document for additional cost claims, extension of time and variations and make the response for them
 Verifying contractors’ monthly payment applications and preparation of Payment Certificates
 Reporting the site progress to Team Leader
 Preparing the cost to completion for every three months period and reporting it to Employer through Team Leader
 Overall office in charge for Resident Engineer’s office Staff.

 Function as manager for site consultant team
 Monitor and update the contractors program and progress

 Monitor quality workmanship
 Supervise overall adherence to drawings, specifications, standards and schedules

 Organizing the various professional working on a project
 Making sure that all the aims of the project are met
 Making sure the quality standards are met
 Verifying contractors’ monthly payment applications

 Preparation of BOQ and specification
 Budget preparation. Preparation of estimation
 Procurement of Civil Works and Goods; Sub Project execution - planning and management; quality control, safety and social safeguards in implementation of sub projects; monitoring work of design and supervision consultants
 Assisting the Provincial Director in preparing progress reports and relative documents
 Monitoring progress and conducting progress review meetings
 Verifying contractors’ monthly payment applications
 Verifying and recommending Variation request for Provincial Director’s approval.

 All technical activities which mainly include project identification, preparation of pre-feasibility reports, review and finalization of detailed project reports, preparation/review of bid documents;

 Review of road pavement designs, road designs, culvert designs, bridge designs

 Procurement of consultants using World Bank guidelines;

 Procurement of Civil Works and Goods; Sub Project execution - planning and management; quality control, safety and social safeguards in implementation of sub projects; monitoring work of design and supervision consultants;

 Assisting the PD in preparing reports for World Bank

 Monitoring progress.

 Verifying contractors IPC and supervision Consultants’ invoice.

 Project planning and recourses management
 Work programming
 Managing the site staff
 Identifying and preparing variations.
 Structural designs for road structures as per site conditions such as culverts, drainage, footpath
 Progress monitoring and cost control
 Work studies
 Evaluation of specialist Sub Contractor quotations for extra work
 Documentation and record keeping
 Attending progress review meetings with client and consultant team.

 Coordinate Site construction work with subcontractors,
 Monitor the progress and guide the subcontractor to get the work done as targeted.
 Attend site meetings and bring out the site issues and sort out it and help the subcontractor to improve their speed of work
 Giving technical details to subcontractors to carry out, check those finished work, call for inspection and accompany RE/COW at the time of inspection.
 Supervise the safety requirements at site, give instruction and remind them whenever they do wrong way.
 Handle the concrete test cubes and update the records.
 To assist the Project Manager in site supervision works
