• Delegate responsibilities to HSE team for full Safety coverage of work activities and effectively oversee 5, 500 workers, mentor and review Observation, Near-Miss and Incident Reports submitted by 95 HSE team, provide remedial advice to close-out critical site issues and update Project Director with HSE Statistics Reports.
• Provide guidance and supportive advice on identified risks, unsafe practices, proper waste management and good Housekeeping, and ensure competent operatives operate Plant, Machinery, Equipment, tools and Fire Extinguishers provided on standby; and maintain up-to-date records in the HSE files.
• Lead Incident investigations and recommend preventive actions which help prevent incident rate on site and held successful meeting with the HSE and Project team.
Project: Doha Metro Major Stations Musherib and Education City Stations
Accomplishments:
• Reviewed Project HSSE Plan, updated and assisted the HSSE Manager compiled Risk Assessment and ensured works are performed in accordance to Method Statement and in adherence to Company’s HSSE procedures and requirements; and monitored compliance with Personal Protective Equipment use which helped reduced injury rates.
• Led and Coordinated daily Tool Box Talks, HSSE Inductions, Emergency Evacuation Drills, Training on HSSE procedures and practices; and held meetings with the HSSE and Construction team which helped improved HSSE Culture on the project; and proper documentations maintained in HSSE files.
• Led regular site inspections, supervised work activities of 4000 workers, provided guidance advice to the Project team on safe systems of work; and effectively coordinated and reviewed Observation, Near-Miss and Incident Reports submitted by 45 HSSE team; updated HSSE Manager with HSSE Statistics Reports which helped maintained Company target of “Zero Harm Accidents to Everyone”.

• Led and coordinated weekly Tool Box Talks and HSE Meetings, effectively trained and inducted new employees on HSE Project requirements and regulations which helped improved HSE Awareness on site.
• Supervised and conducted regular site inspections, enforced Permit-to-Work systems, and provided guidance advice to the site management team, followed-up on corrective actions of identified hazards, risks, and unsafe practices which helped controlled risks identified on site, adequate Safety Signages provided and ensured compliance with Personal Protective Equipment use which helped reduced injury rates.
