Zonal Program Manager, Urban Poverty Alleviation Program (UPAP) of NRSP 1997-2013
• Developed and Managed the program in 10 Operations Management Units (in 7 major cities of Pakistan) supervising a team of over 500 staff members providing services to 2, 825, 480 members of 403, 640 poor families. Made the program the best example of a sustainable Microfinance program of Pakistan. UPAP is the second largest Microfinance Program working in Urban areas of Pakistan
• I conducted research projects on democratization in the remote areas of Punjab and Sind. Conducted pilot projects of Democratization in different districts of Punjab.
• Developed and successfully implemented a homegrown integrated Management Information System providing support to all levels of staff from front line field worker to Director Programs.
• Developed and implemented an innovative Micro Insurance Program catering the insurance needs of clients and their families
• Managed the successful credit rating of the Organization by M-CRIL's Micro-Finance Rating wherein UPAP got Alpha-Minus
• Developed Human Resource and Micro-Credit Policies while working directly with the senior management.
• Developed Finance policy of the Organization in close coordination with senior management. Supervised annual Budgeting, Credit Pricing and financial health of the organization
