• Making monthly closing of all group companies by ensuring that all month end adjustments (accruals, pre-payments, payroll, bank reconciliations, invoicing, depreciation etc.) have been accounted for properly and reconciling GL module with AR, AP, inventory, revenue and fixed asset module of ERP.
• Participating in periodic budget preparation activities by giving inputs in terms of identified variances in past, cost cutting suggestions and new plans / improvements that would impact future costs and revenue.
• Preparing periodic financial statements (individual and consolidated) of all group companies.
• Preparing monthly management reports containing cash flow projections, aging analysis of debtors and creditors, breakeven trend, variance analysis of revenue and expenses, product wise margin analysis, trend analysis of profits with past periods, KPIs of ongoing projects etc.
• Analytical evaluation of financial performance of all group companies by using different ratios and tools like GP ratio, NP ratio, current ratio, inventory turnover ratio, accounts receivable turnover ratio etc.
• Preparing projects wise costing reports and reporting the variance between estimated project cost and actual project cost to the management.
• Evaluating internal control systems, identifying control deficiency, duplication, fraud or non-compliance with policies and making appropriate recommendations to the management.
• Dealing with external auditors for periodic audit activities, coordinating with bankers for financing arrangements and working with ERP experts for effective resolution and implementation of ERP related financial matters.
• Filling VAT Return with FTA.
• Responsible for controlling team of accountants at group level, reviewing their work and coordinating with them for their queries and problems.
