PIPING WELDING, NDT, HYDRO, AND FINAL QC DOCUMENT WORK

- Conducting visual Inspection on Welds and parent material.
- Review of Mill test certificates as per the specifications.
- Inspection of material and welding consumables as per the specifications.
- Establishing the WPS for SMAW, GTAW, process according to ASME Sec-IX Standards for Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel and Dissimilar Material.
- Welders Qualification Test with reference of WPS.
- Certifying the Procedure Qualification Record (PQR).
- Certifying the Welder Performance Qualifications Test (WPQT).
- PT, MPT for Surface and Sub-surface Checks.
- Ultrasonic Test for Lamination Check and Weld checks.
- Radiography film Interpretations.
Provided technical support for engineering department in material selection, weld joint design, NDT Requirements.
Controlled/monitored the material identification according to client specifications.
Inspected pipe spools (for C.S, S.S, and GI & Al) as per the drawing and documenting the same.
Monitored the Backing system for welding consumables and Pre heating and Inter pass temperature of Welds.
Liaised with the third party inspection agencies for all the inspection activities.
Administered preparation of Hydrostatic Test Packages and Pneumatic Test reports.
Looked after documentation for Repair works (Piping and Steel work) and preparation and submission of Final Protocols & Dossiers for the Projects.
Co-ordinated with QC, ISO, Design & Project Departments.
