Work in precommissioning & commissioning of Chemanol petrochemical company (Methanol & Carbon monoxide plant) which consist of Sulfur Removal, Steam Methane Reformer, Cryogenic system, Acid Gas recovery system (Absorption Column) Natural gas, synthesis gas & CO gas centrifugal compressor, Steam turbine generator (9.5 MW)
Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Experience:
• Air blowing.
• Steam blowing of HP, MP & LP Steam lines.
• Flushing & degreasing of lines.
• Mechanical completion checking of various lines with isometric views.
• Leak test at operating pressure.
• Hot lube oil circulations.
• Commissioning of Centrifugal Compressor.
• Functional test of emergency shutdown logic.
• Steam Turbine steam line blowing adopting puffing method until number of pitting on the target plate in to central zone are less than 5.
• Chemical cleaning & Amine circulation of CO2 Removal unit.
• Catalyst filling in Reformer, Hydro generator, Desulphurisers & methanol converter
• Chemical cleaning of STEAM DRUM for passivation.
• Boil out & Dry out of STEAM REFORMER & STEAM DRUM.
• Centrifugal Compressors commissioning & start up.
• Flare commissioning & start up.
• Deriming & Start-up of CRYOGENIC System -- COLD BOX
• Sea cooling water & sweet cooling water flushing & passivation.
• Manage the production line in accordance with Standard Operating procedure of the plant.
• Plant start up, run, and shutdown as per operating procedures & Ensuring Plant stability and optimization.
• Conduct a pre-shift meeting to boost employees' morale aside from the usual updates and processes.
• Individually handling and leading the whole shift crew members and plant process area without any significant EHS incidents.
• Monitoring accurate logs & reports filled by field operators and Panel Operators for appropriate decision making.
• Continuous monitoring the plant operating conditions to ensure the quick resolution of abnormal operational situations & reporting significant changes to superiors and initiating action as required.
• Assessing root causes and remedial actions.
• Making field adjustments, to ensure maximum plant efficiency.
• Making maintenance job requests by SAP system for Mechanical. Instrument and Electrical, raising Notifications, issuing work permits and direct maintenance crews, ensuring their work will be accomplished safely.
• Motivating and training subordinates to develop teamwork and to achieve best safety record.
• Conduct presentation, safety talk & emergency drill.
• Activity participated in onsite & offsite emergency plan, Evacuation drill and fire fighting mock drill.
• Monitoring of fire water system checklist updating & weekly trial of fire hydrant system.
• Fire & gas detectors location and calibration record maintaining clearly.
• Preparation of SOP, job safety analysis and job hazard analysis.
• Conducting advanced safety audits, ISO audits & Insurance audits.
• Preparing shut down job list & notification.
Fire and Safety:
• Conducting of Weekly Safety meeting, Reporting incidents, Near misses.
• Familiar with selection of PPEs, operation safety & permit to work system.
• Approved work permit Issuer according to Chemanol EHSMS Permit to Work System.
• Preparation of SOP and job safety analysis, job hazard analysis. Conducting advanced safety audits.
• Activity participated in onsite & offsite emergency plan, Evacuation drill and firefighting mock drill.
• Undergone fire fighting by using various types of fire extinguishers and safety training.
• Responsibility includes monitoring of fire water system checklist updating & weekly trial of fire hydrant system.
• Fire & gas detectors location and calibration record maintaining clearly.
• Conducting of Weekly Safety meeting, Reporting incidents, Near misses.
