POSITION : QA/QC MANAGER
 Preparing Quality Planning for projects such as Project Quality Plans, ITPs and Procedures.
 Maintaining the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 in the company and continuously make improvements.
 Prepare, organize and support an internal quality audit program for quality audits to verify that all activities of planning, execution and documentation are carried on in terms of the contract specifications and the Quality & HSE Management System.
 Ensuring that Package QC coverage is sufficient and that the Inspectors are properly
Qualified for their discipline.
 Supervises and coordinates all activities related to Quality control and Quality assurance in inspection of work.
 Checking the engineering documents, in each discipline, prepared by the company and give timely comments or approval, in accordance with contract procedures and requirements.
 Controlling the staff during construction activities to ensure that the quality of the work performed on site by the Subcontractors complies with Contract requirements.
 Ensuring that at reception, project materials and equipments are in conformity with the project requirements.
 Ensuring that approved NDE procedures are applied, that the work is performed safely and in accordance with specifications and codes.
 Participating in weekly, monthly and quality meetings and preparing weekly quality reports.
 Conducting root cause analysis of non-conformances and customer complaints, audit vendor evaluation and advising on applicable preventive measures accordingly
 Preparing method statements and procedures as per project specification and standards.
 Implementing QMS system including training, audits, NCR management and quality alert process.
 Weld joint fit up inspection, welding inspection before, during and after welding.
 Conducting welder qualification tests and maintaining continuity records.
 Ensure that all fabrication and erection by welding is performed in conformance with the requirements of the contract documents.
 Ensuring that the checks and tests are carried out in compliance with the established codes and technical specifications and the results conform.
 To ensure approved welding procedures, methods and consumables are used by qualified personnel to ensure all quality requirements of construction and fabrication are met in accordance with company procedures and international code of practice.
 Reviewing RT films and issuing requests and coordinating with NDE sub contractors to complete NDE.
 Performing receiving inspection of materials.
 Performing cold bending of pipes and flange bolt torqueing.
 Hydrostatic testing and dimensional verification of valves as per ASME B16.34
 Internal cleaning and hydrostatic testing of pipelines, cylinder heads, crank cases and sections as per project requirements and procedures.
 Preparing and reviewing of hydro test packs and issuing pretest punch lists.
 Conducting hydro tests for pipelines and valves.
 Performing lay up for the test sections.
 Performing preliminary start up tests before blasting and painting activities.
 Undertaking qualification tests for painters, abrasive blasters and hydro blasters.
 Ensuring all stages of blasting and painting activities are carried out as per contract requirements.
 Performing holiday testing for all the buried pipelines and structures.
 Issuing final punch list, non-conformance reports as per the standards and drawings.
 Preparing final as-built drawings, material traceability records and material reconciliation.
 Maintaining calibration records for all the inspection instruments and equipment’s.
