Project Management for Engineering projects for leading Oil & Gas Clients and EPC Contractors in the Middle East and Africa. Type of projects include Conceptual & Feasibility Studies, FEED/Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering. Onshore & Offshore projects, both greenfield and brownfield. Type of facilities include Offshore Platforms, Subsea Pipelines, Onshore plants, Storage Tank Terminals, Cross-country Pipelines etc.

Worked as Piping Engineer for Detailed Engineering of the following, large size EPIC Projects which consisted
of dozens of Units (including Process, Utilities / Offsites, and Tank Farms):
1. GSFC Baroda, India - Caprolactam Expansion Project (50, 000 MTPA)
2. GNFC Baroda - ANP / CAN Project

* Successfully managed and completed multidisciplinary projects for Conceptual Studies, Feasibility Studies, FEED /
Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering for green and brownfield Onshore & Offshore
Mechanical/Piping are provided in the previous section of this CV. Summary of Projects is furnished below).
* Qatar Petroleum (QP), Doha
New Crude Oil Storage Tanks & Associated Facilities at Halul Island, offshore Qatar
FEED for Additional Crude Oil Storage Tank (of 100, 000m3 capacity) complete with all associated facilities
including 2 x 48” inlet/outlet Crude Oil piping headers between NTF and Central Manifold Station, ESDVs,
fire protection systems, civil/structural, electrical, instrumentation & telecom works.
(Project Manager e original Contract scope), besides active participation in site / route survey, development
& finalization of Overall and Unit Plot Plans, Piping layouts/GAs, Tie-in locations & details etc. Also acted as
leave reliever during FEED for the additional scope. Responsible for full engineering coordination as well
besides playing a key role in developing critical documents such as EPIC SOW, EPIC Cost Estimate and
EPIC Schedule).
* King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah / General Authority of Civil Aviation, KSA
Major expansion of Jeddah Airport.
New Jet A-1 Aviation fuel tank farm (33m dia x 8 Nos. storage tanks), with all associated facilities, 2 x 20”dia
x 7km long underground incoming aviation fuel pipelines from Saudi Aramco depot, underground aviation
fuel hydrant piping network all around the airport / aprons.
(Role: Project Manager, also with full involvement in development of overall layouts for the fuel farm, incoming
fuel pipelines, tank-farm piping, and the fuel hydrant network
Replacement of existing Sewage Treatment Units (STU) on 9 Nos. offshore platforms in Upper Zakum
The multidiscipline FEED also included Best Available Technology (BAT) assessment, Constructability
Study, various HSE studies & workshop etc. Total 9 platforms involved. (Role: Project Manager)
* Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (TAKREER)
Replacement of 48” Cooling Water RTR Pipeline from Sea Water Intake area to existing Abu Dhabi
Refinery at Umm Al Nar - Detailed Engineering for EPC.
Detailed Engineering for EPC Contractor (TOLEDO, Abu Dhabi), for the construction of a new underground
2km long 48” dia sea water pipeline from Sea Water Intake area to Abu Dhabi Refinery

Five-slot four pile offshore platform at a water depth of 43m, along with two nos. subsea pipelines.
(Responsible for Piping / Mechanical engineering including development Equipment Layouts, specifications &
datasheets and procurement engineering for piping materials and mechanical / material handling equipment).
* Western Oil Company, Jebel Ali, Dubai

6 Nos. new storage tanks (dia 31.5m to 55m), 16 Nos. new pumps and all associated 24”/20” pipework, 2 x
20" dia pipelines to Gas Tanker Berth-1, complete with all associated multidiscipline work.
