Outsourced to National Archives of UAE, dedicated to the SHEIKH ZAYED ARCHIVE project for preserving Sheikh Zayed historical videos and convert into file based for the legacy for future generations.
Manage various materials like Films (16 & 35 mm), video tapes (BETA SP - DIGIBETA - 2 inches, 1 inch, UMATIC, XDCAM), my main missions are:
• 16 and 35 mm film inspection: preparation of the supports for scanning
-Inspect the films with DEBRIE HDC1635,
-Renew the joins with DEBRIE TR3,
-Clean the films with ULTRACLEAN HFE 4200
• Film Scanning: Films are scanned on a 2K scanner in DPX or AVI file format.
-Brightness and contrast levels adjustment,
-Color, gamma levels adjustment,
-Scene by scene corrections
• Digitizing and Editing with Avid and Final Cut Pro,
• Digitizing and Editing audios with ProTools,
• Digital Film Restoration with Phoenix Refine,
• Digital Audio Restoration with Isotope on ProTools,
• Meta-data ingest with MAM software IGNITION,
• Ensuring the good conditions of physical storage
