• Guiding and supporting HRBPs and Managers in handling an employee’s grievance/disciplinary issues.
• Analyzing the disciplinary/grievance case after receipt from different territories.
• Preparing summary report of the case and assign it to respective investigation officers in different territories.
• Conduct due fact finding and investigatory interviews including preparation of witness statements and investigation report.
• Complete analysis of data/facts and reach a fair and consistent conclusion which minimizes the risk to the Company.
• Attends investigation meetings for senior level employee cases.
• Manage & conduct investigations on employee’s misconduct and other inappropriate workplace behavior & violations.
• Follow up with investigation officers/HRBP for case reports.
• Update relevant stakeholders with key findings and any relevant information, including any recommendations.
• Evaluating investigation reports for final decision making.
• Site visits (retail stores) related to case investigation and other awareness activities.
• Partnering with HRBP’s for exercising diligence in reviewing the available evidence, facts, witnesses, etc.
• Fair execution of disciplinary actions and terminations in line with UAE Law and Company policy.
• Update HRBP and concerned department in case of a disciplinary action so that it could be highlighted for future reference.
• Conducts awareness/training programs related to disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Frequent meetings with floor employees to understand their problems and their wellbeing in the company.
• Collaborate with HR Legal and Compliance and/or external legal counsel for advice on interpretation of local laws and regulations and ER policies, procedures, cases in-country
• Reports - disciplinary/grievance trackers (monthly and quarterly), dashboards, call matrix etc.

Disciplinary and grievance
• Point of contact for any disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Assist employees in understanding their rights and duties.
• In charge and lead of grievance committee.
• Fact gathering through witnesses and documents (police reports, photographs, medical reports etc.
• Identifying the subject matter of the disciplinary/grievance issues and the reason why it is being filed and practice that gives rise to the grievance.
• Obtaining and assessing past disciplinary record as a part of investigation in case of disciplinary cases.
• Analysing the disciplinary/grievance case.
• Negotiating to settle the grievance without elevating to next level.
• Preparing the case report to submit and submitting for manager’s and head of the department’s review and approval.
• Counseling employees as and when required based on disciplinary/grievance issues.
• Processing and Administration of document - written complaints, warnings, terminations etc.
• Redesigning the grievance/disciplinary policy inorder to make fair decisions within the organization
• Coordinates with legal department as and when required for cases.

Employee Engagement
• Develop Employee Engagement strategies and solutions that support organizational transformation and directorates in achieving and sustaining high engagement and performance level.
• Channelize synergies with other HR sections to ensure all Human Resources interventions are aligned and connected to the business strategy.
• Coordinate and contribute to new program initiatives that are implemented on a monthly basis throughout the company.
• Contributes to the Group HR Balance Score Card and the quarterly reporting process of Service Level Agreement and Key Performance Indicators; supports the monthly reporting process of various activities within the Group HR department.
• Directly participate in the implementation of these initiatives under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager.
• Conduct various welfare activities and social activities like Talent Hunt, Annual Staff Parties, health related activities like Walking challenge, Yoga and Zumba, Birthday Celebrations, Quran teaching classes, Fun Run and other activities relation important days both local and international.
• Develop and create news bulletins in order to communicate the Employee Engagement activity plans to all team members within the company
• Build strong business relation and act as HR Business Partner with the key stakeholders to ensure proactive support of the businesses in all aspects of HR management.
• Establish and maintain employee rewards and recognition programs (Employee of the month, Safetyman of the month, Excellence awards, client appreciations, service awards etc…. Analyze and assess trends in rewards and recognitions and recommend adjustments as appropriate.
• Conduct weekly Employee Voice Meetings at labour camps and work sites.
• Labour camp inspection and addressing issues to concerned departments for solutions.
• Evaluate and resolve human relations, labor relations, and work-related problems and meet with management to determine appropriate action.
• Ensure timely completion of weekly, monthly and annual reports.

Special Projects
• Administer the Employee Suggestion Scheme in the company termed “Baader” - Coordinate with the governing team for approvals and implementation of the approved suggestions.
• Prepare and monitor the suggestion scheme reports on a day to day basis.

• Undertaking recruitment and selection activities. This involves drafting and placing advertisements, coordinating candidate information and interviews, preparation of selection reports, reference checks, drafting offers of employment.
• Sourcing of prospective candidates through job portals (Websites & Social Media).
• Conducting telephonic or personal interviews with the candidates and getting preliminary information regarding salaries, availability, notice period, experience etc.
• Salary, Notice period negotiation and follow up with the candidates joining the organization.
• Induct, educate and train new employees. This includes communicating the organization’s vision and mission and policies and procedures and acquainting them with their specific responsibilities and facilitates their interaction with different functional heads of the different departments.
• Create a database of potential candidates by researching and contacting colleges, employment agencies, recruiters through social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn etc.
• Facilitate for processes like performance management (facilitating), training and development.
• Assisting the HR Manager with policies, issuing policy memos, point of contact for policy clarifications.
• Facilitating Payroll - Monthly Allowances / Leave Management / Reimbursements.
• Resource Management - Based on the requirements from the Project Managers, allocating resources for various projects based on the skill levels. Follow up on project completion status, channelling escalations from client to seniors,
• Compensation & Benefits - Addition & deletion of new joiners & dependents, coordination with the insurance company regarding insurance cards & reimbursement cheques, analyse and make sure that the benefits are as per market trend and aligned with government regulations, attend to employee concerns and communicate it to the senior authorities.
• Employee Relations: hearing and resolving employee grievances; counselling employees and supervisors. Takes it up to the management for appropriate action, Conflict management.
• Employee Engagement - internal and external events, issuing special promotions for employees, awards, themed office days, fun projects, team photo shoot, charity events etc.
• Legal Compliance: Ensuring all activities are lined as per the UAE labour law, investigating, interaction with legal advisors.
• HR Administration: issuing letters (Salary certificates, NOC, termination), verification calls, personal files, updating the ERP (Microsoft Application for HRMS) system, leave management.
• Work closely with the line managers to carry out various HR procedures such as employee promotion, salary revision and probation confirmation.
• Managing all immigration and labour documentation and activities

• MIS - reports on employees performance, master file with all employee personal details (gender, qualification, nationality, DOB, designation, date of join, exit date etc…), employee C&B report, candidate interview reports, HR documents issued report, employee passport log report, labour card and emirates id report, labour and immigration log report, performance appraisal report, training and development report, probation confirmation report, attendance report (late, overtime, absent etc…), induction report etc…
• Employee relations - Meeting workers and checking if any work related issues, evaluates and resolves issues, meets with management for appropriate action, counsels employees regarding work, personal or family problems, explains company policies, C&B programs etc to the employees, arrange for facilities and activities for the employees, employee relation report.

• Identifying training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments
