Works in close collaboration with the operations, programm and projects’ staff in the CO and UNDP HQs staff to exchange information and ensure consistent service delivery. Ensures administration and implementation of HR strategies and policies focusing on achievement of the following results:
• Full compliance of records and reports with UN rules, regulations, UNDP policies, procedures and strategies; effective implementation of the internal control framework.
• CO HR business processes mapping and elaboration of the content of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in HR management in consultation with the direct supervisor and office management, control of workloads of the supervised staff.
• Provision of information to the management and staff on strategies, rules and regulations.
• Ensures the articulation of adequate gender responsive strategies and standard operating procedures to facilitate the realization and maintenance of gender equality targets in the workplace. Provides HR services focusing on achievement of the following results:
• Implementation of recruitment processes including drafting job description, provision of input to job classification process, vacancy announcement, screening of candidates, participation in interview panels.
• Creation/update of positions in Atlas, association of positions to chart fields (COAs), update of COA information, setting up vendor, performing the functions of Admin.HR, Position Administrator and Absence Processor in Atlas. Preparation of contracts (fixed-term, ALD, SSAs, SCs) and recurring Pos in Atlas. Timely follow up with Finance staff on Global payroll issues.
• Input and tracking of all transactions related to positions, recruitment, benefits, earnings/deductions, retroactivities, recoveries, adjustments and separations through Atlas.
Maintenance of the CO staffing table.
•Provision of information on benefits/entitlements to the International Staff and Experts. Maintenance of the rosters including e-rosters.Validation of cost-recovery charges in Atlas for HR services provided by UNDP to other Agencies.Ensures proper staff performance management and career development focusing on achievement of the following results:
• Participation in preparation of Whole Office Learning plan and individual learning plans in consultation with the Senior Management, and Learning Committee.
• Support the scheduling and conduct of Friday Learning session. Tracking of PMD planning and review; both mid-term and annual.• Consult with department heads to identify training needs. Utilize performance metric tools to assess effectiveness of training programmes. Work directly with individuals to develop improvement plans. Source outside resources for specialised training programmes, including harassment. Oversee development of training programme scopes and course materials.

Ensures conduct of UN-related surveys focusing on achievement of the following results:
• Collection of information and preparation of reports for comprehensive and interim local salary, hardship and place-to-place surveys. Participation in the work of LSSC. Planned and supervised efficient compensation activities. Developed compensation scorecards and provided update. Administered annual open enrollment process and resources. Responsibilities:

 Pre-Recruitment Process
· Receipt of requirement of manpower from various department heads.
· Scrutinize them and take approval from concerned authorities if the post is new.
· Prepare a recruitment budget and take approval.
· Select the appropriate Recruitment process.

 Recruitment Process
- Prepare Advertisements, Job Posting, Coordinate with Vendors
- Scrutinize and shortlist the applications received.
- Send interview call letters/mails as required.
- Conduct Interviews through panels.
- Preparation of offer letters as required.
- Responsible for framing HR policies, Rules and Regulation, HR forms.

 Provides advice on the implementation of policies related to human resources management, particularly as it relates to HQs and the field, as well as assisting supervisors and staff with understanding human resources policy. Reviews and provides advice to Programme Managers on requests for exceptions to policies, regulations and rules before transmittal to the Office of Human Resources Management.
 Supports in the compilation and submission of comments to Staff Regulations, Staff Rules and Administrative Instructions disseminated by the Office of Human Resources Management.
 Assists in the review of Prohibited Conduct and disciplinary cases forwarded by OIOS or OHRM, and if required, help to arrange investigation panels and communicate conclusions to the relevant parties. Assists with the submission of information and comments for Senior Management for issues referred by the Office of the Ombudsman.
 Prepares special reports, briefing notes and talking points for senior management on HR related issues and participates and/or leads special human resources project.Keeps abreast of policy developments in various areas of human resources.Provides advice as it pertains to recruitment selections and ensure adherence to policies and procedures in filling vacant posts. Plan, organize, and provide leadership and control all administrative functions. Achieve objectives by anticipating requirements; support budget preparation, schedule expenditures, monitor costs, and analyze variances.

-Plan, develop and implement strategy for HR management and development (including recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, counseling, pay and conditions, contracts, succession planning, moral and motivation, culture and attitude development, performance appraisal and quality management issues).
-Providing generalist HR support; advice to staff and management on employee relation issues, recruitment and retention and performance management.
-Providing statistical information on HR related subjects.
-Advising management on new and existing HR policies and ensuring employment law is kept up to date with regards to contractual agreements with all employees.
-Work with managers in performance management, coaching, salary administration, staffing, leave of absence, worker’s compensation, and safety and quality assurance initiatives.

Managing Human Resources in accordance with local legislation. Implementing documentation regards to the HR responsibility & Securing staff contracts in line with local legislation. Preparing the annual departmental budgets, including manpower, operating expenses and controlling expenses of approved budget.

• Guiding and supporting Line Managers with recruitment in order to enforce high level of the recruitment standards & Advising on the organisation structures and efficient staffing levels.

Leadership development and talent management by deploying (with the assistance of the Company Training Centre) development programs across the organization . Leading and developing Human Resources team, in line with departmental goals, objectives and systems.

• Guiding all Managers on Performance Management and monitoring that objectives are set for all staff and annual appraisals are appropriately conducted in line with BP Performance Management Policy. Providing effective staff relations through problem solving, mediation, and two-way communication.

•Our Company has implemented Oracle Financial Bundle and HRMS/Payroll modules, and my responsibilities included the HRMS/Payroll module and Order entry. I had received training in these modules. Responsibilities included maintaining recruitment, employee details, compensation, absence details, other payroll elements, and appraisal.

•I serve as a central point liaison with other departments in resolution of variety of day -today HR concerns and ensuring compliance with government laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to do documentation of employment of local and expatriate personnel

•Assist in execution of human resources management policies and procedures, and reviews, process and makes recommendations on requests for human resources actions

•Responsible to human resource manager for administering the employee benefits program including life insurance, leave program, gratuity calculations, ensure eligible employee participation and payment of benefits

Execute all the policies and procedures pertaining to payroll administration and processing. Reconcile monthly payroll activities for all employees. Verity time reports, update, compute and maintain up too date leave accrual.
