Duties & Responsibilities
1- Develop the Business unit Business plans & feasibility studies.
2- Manage the Innovation & Quality Department programs /Projects to support successful achievement of organization Strategic objectives.
3- Manage all Innovation & Quality Dept Projects from conception through to completion and final evaluation - adopting a variety of project management tools and techniques eg. PMI, Kepner-tregoe.
4- Develop, monitor & control Sayga Innovation & Quality Departmental budget to insure that the expenditure is aligned with the approved Budget.
5- Coordinate Innovation & Quality departmental activities with other Sayga Foods departments, DAL Food Industries Division ( Agri, Dairy, bottling ...etc ), Sudanese and International strategic partners & other regulatory bodies.
6- Develop & maintain links to external expertise suppliers, vendors, service providers..etc
Highlights:
Implemented a diverse Project Portfolio for the unit 2009 -2015 ( Software, Construction, Processes & Product development)
Implementing a 3.9 million dollars project in relation with the WFP (World Food Programme) that was finished by the end of 2012.
Assessed projects feasibility, gathered business requirements and executed project plans for Services unit on 2012 that were part of the $3.5 million budgeted for cost saving initiative: MIAG Test Mill, Grist & Improver Savings.
Managed relationship with third-parties DAL Design & construction, governments bodies eg. Sudanese Standards & Meteorology Organization to promote and enhance Program / projects implementation .
Acted as a point of contact between many levels within the organization including the Managing Director & other DAL Food Division sectors - Agri, Dairy, bottling ...etc
