• Sketch plans and prepare specifications for interiors to depict proper arrangement of furniture and accessories and coordinate harmonious color schemes.
• Advise clients on interior design factors, such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and color coordination.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and all related documents prepared by external consultants for approval/rejection.
• Estimate cost and amount of materials required, present plans to those concerned for approval, estimate bids and prepare contracts for interior installation.
• Select, design and purchase furnishings, art works and accessories for the available space.
• Provide design ideas in the form of paste-ups or drawings to provide the client a visual to assist in the decision making process.
• Develop and prepare presentation drawings using design principles.
• Select decorative and functional materials and accessories such as furniture, light fixtures and pictures, and ensure that selections meet all appropriate codes and governing requirements.
• Site Visits and inspections.
• Coordinating and carrying out meetings with Contractors.
• Checking and Taking care of Material’s Quantity with the Quantity Surveyor.
