❖ Worked as senior plant operator since 2004 to 2013, at Guheshwori Wastewater Treatment Plant in Kathmandu Nepal
❖ Working as Senior SCADA Plant Operator since 2013 to till Date at Project Operation and Maintenance of (4) Sewage Treatment Plants ( SBR & CONTINUOUS STP's) In the City of Doha

3. CHLORINATION:
❖ Knowledge of chlorinator being used for pre and post chlorination system in water treatment plant.
❖ Knowledge of effects of chlorine exposure, limits of exposure, chlorine human health effects and chlorine handling.


4. Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Operates sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment in wastewater treatment plant to control flow and processing of sewage: Monitors control panels and adjusts valves and gates manually or by remote control to regulate flow of sewage.
2) Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings and tests results to determine load requirements.
3) Starts and stops pumps, engines, and generators to control flow of raw sewage through filtering, settling, aeration, and sludge digestion processes.
4) Maintains log of operations and records meter and gauge readings.
5) Gives directions to WASTEWATER-TREATMENT-PLANT ATTENDANTS and SEWAGE-DISPOSAL WORKERS in performing routine operations and maintenance.
6) May collect sewage sample, using dipper or bottle and conduct laboratory tests, using testing equipment.
7) May operate and maintain power generating equipment to provide steam and electricity for plant.
8) May be designated according to specialized activity or stage in processing as Activated-Sludge Operator; Grit-Removal Operator; Pump-And-Blower Operator; Sludge-Control Operator, Sludge-Filtration Operator.
9) Knowledge of pump and its parts, starting stopping trouble shooting and maintenance
10) Monitoring of Pumping stations and STP's through PLC & SCADA network and assimilating the various faults and taking immediate remedial measures
11) Inhibition of pumps and alarms as and when required, through SCADA.

12) Analyzes plant operating problems and take necessary steps to restore plant to normal operation or take recommended solutions to the control room operator or shift manager as appropriate
13) To monitor the parameter by SCADA, performance of all equipments, statistical data concerning plant operations and take necessary steps.
