• Responsible for all planning - weekly and termly for the entire nursery.
• Teaching and covering for absent colleagues
• Weekly progress report writing
• Meeting with parents
• Interviewing ‘local’ employees and providing training for UK Phonics programmes.
• Providing daily O.T (Occupational Therapy) for a severely Autistic child.
• Displaying children’s work.
• Reason for leaving - I will take maternity leave and this is also the final year the nursery will be open as the owner will travel to another country
• Responsible for all planning short term, medium term and long term planning for my group of children (aged 3-4)
• Planning and designing assessment documentation in line with the EYFS
• Teaching 4 15 minute carpet time sessions daily in accordance to the EYFS
• Planning “Free flow” play situations linked to EYFS assessment in order to observe each child on a daily basis
• Report writing
• Meeting with parents on a daily basis and parent meetings on a termly basis.
• Displaying children’s work.
• Assessing children for New Intake
