Head of Finance and Administration to oversee the entire finance and administration functions of the operations in Ghana and ensure accurate, timely and efficient reporting to Head office in Washington, US. Ensure sound management of taxation and human resource; dealing with all statutory financial reporting. Deal with any other issues that referred by Chief of Party or Head office. Assist Head office in closing the operations at the end of the LOGODEP Project in Ghana.

Assist in Strategic direction of the company,

Acting in the absence of the Managing Director.
The work entails the following: -
a. Working capital management in:
•Supervising payroll and procurement activities and managing creditors,
•Stores control,
•Cash management and expenditure control.
b. Preparing budgets and budgetary control.
c. Cash flow planning and forecasting.
d. Management information systems
e. Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with Ghanaian and International Accounting Standards requirements.
f. Dealing with banks in acquiring and managing funds.
g. Oversight responsibility for Personnel management.
h. Corporate affairs- governmental and public agencies including public affairs.
i. Review company-operating performance for improvement.
Engaged in providing technical and advisory services to small and medium firms. Areas covered are financial management and accounting, including internal controls and business planning. Also, writing feasibility study report. Developing computerised accounting system. Audit and Investigation.
Assist in the efficient management of the company’s human and material resources. The areas of responsibility span over: -

i. Training subordinate staff.
j. Develop and implement computerised accounting system.
Assist the Head of Finance and Administration to plan, organise, develop and provide financial and management accounting services to all concerned with mine operations. Deal with banks. Provide management information: monthly, quarterly half-yearly and annual accounts. Ensure compliance of the company’s statutory obligations and regulations. Overall responsibility for general and personnel administration covering recruitment, salary administration, collective bargaining, manpower planning and office administration. Responsible for export of bullion and import programmes.
Responsible for financial and management accounts and international reporting to the group Head office. Supervise procurement, stores and payroll administration. Assist in budgeting and financial planning. Ensure timely payment of payroll tax, SSNIT and Excise duty and other statutory deductions. Reporting to Director of Finance and Plant Manager.
Responsible for overall company accounting systems and services and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. Dealing with banks. Handling imports of frozen meat products and live cattle and sheep/goats. Member of Interim Management Committee, (IMC) of the Board.
