Supervises and controls the work of a team within planned schedule and budgeted costs. Ensure that the works conformed to the specification and quality standards. Coordinates with other department, designers, consultants and engineers to solve technical & site issues. Report the construction progress and any factors affecting the construction activities to the Project Engineer. Engage in planning works or construction schedule. Identify and report any incident of non-conformance to specification. Cooperate with the appointed Safety and Health Officer at the workplace over the implementation of health and safety system. Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Project Engineer.
Responsible for all the activities of the project (excavations, foundation, rebars, formworks, concreting and finishing). Responsible for the health and safety of the workers. Engage in planning works or construction schedule. Undertake inspection of works at appropriate stages to ensure conformance to the specification and quality standard. Coordinates with other department, designers, consultants and engineers to solve technical & site issues. Report on the construction progress and any factors affecting the construction activities to the Project Manager. Monitors and evaluates/Updating project schedule/progress/resources. Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
Oversees civil site construction activities which includes: managing the civil subcontractors, site preparation and construction progress. Conducting inspections and implementing quality control measures. To ensure safety regulations are being implemented and observed at the project site. Monitoring progress & daily site activities.Makes weekly accomplishment report and submit to the Municipal Engineer. Performs material estimates. Performs such other similar and/or related tasks and functions as may be assigned from time to time by the immediate superior.
